If he’s getting overruled on everything related to the playing side then maybe it’s better he just be on the board for the stadium and do the PR work for the signings, just quietly remove the DoF role but keep the scouts in place
Why, what skills has he got to deliver a stadium?

Are we just inventing roles for him to stay on when he really has no function here?

How accurate this is im not sure but here we go.

That is the most depressing thing I’ve ever seen.

£6m a year to Pickford, £5m to Iwobi.

Godfrey had just been in a very poor Norwich side and relegated. We gave him immediately £68,000 a week.

How can any defend this man? If anything he's made it worse.
I can understand the James wage because we need to lure him here as he's a superstar, but the ones from relegated sides must of been on buttons 15-25k ish

To say we are grossly mismanaged is an understatement

Absolutely. Let's look at that list again:

That is absolutely bonkers. He'd been tasked with bringing the wage budget down under £100m as per the Athletic. What a mess.

We pay £7m to a midfielder who is sadly completely broken (Gomes), £6m to Doucoure who looks totally lost in our midfield and came from a relegated side, £5m each to one of our worst ever signings (Iwobi) and Delph, the thinking man's goblin.

Gbamin on nearly £4m a year! Doesn't he have less than five league appearances?!?!
