I wonder if with Kean linked with Inter we have stepped aside on Dumfries on the agreement they take Kean off our hands?
Brands/Kean/Dumfries all the same agent - can't see why we would pursue him for so long before just dropping out if we knew the financial situation beforehand unless we thought we could get him on loan.
It's an interesting theory.
However from what I've read Inter are really skint.
I mean so skint that they are close to administration .
I'm not sure that even after selling Hakimi and Lukaku they can afford anyone and there is still talk that they are selling Martinez to Spurs for £60 m.
However there were also rumours that they were prepared to offer £50 for Martial , so you might be right I suppose.
Or unless we thought we could sell a player or two and have a kitty. That could happen at any point.
Can’t wait for the sales to go through before thinking about who we would want to sign. The targets have to be identified for a range of what if scenarios.
We would all be mad if a sale happened and no ground work on potential signings had been done.

If he had any backbone he'd walk with Moshiri going over his head for football matters. Instead, he'll get his new suit and trainers allowance and smile knowing he can do an awful job in the summer and then take January's off without any consequence.
Dumfries is this seasons Zaha. Chase him for ages despite not having the money, thank god Brands hasnt got any budget to buy another Iwobi. I’m not at all suggesting selling Richardson or DCL, but there are events that could result in them leaving. Harry Kane going to Spurs being one such.
He couldn’t even get a deal sorted for a player from his own nation, that we were linked with before he had a great Euros and still only moved for 12mil.
