Has anyone got a comparison of what the squad was before he took up his post, to what it is now?

GOT put this up the other day.

It's very easy to disagree.

Look at the squad we had when he come in and compare it to now.

"He's overseen a catastrophe"

He come in during a catastrophe - Everton, managed by Sam Allardyce with this team. Always needed time to clear out this mess. He had to remove a 1/4 of the squad - wait until contracts finished for the likes of Schneiderlin, Garbutt, Stekelenburg ,Sandro Ramirez, Yannick Bolasie, Cenk Tosun, Theo Walcott, Oumar Niasse, Cuco Martina, Muhamed Besic, Shani Tarashaj . This team was a starting 11 in the Prem a couple of months before Brands come in;

It's coming up to crunch time when we have to start seeing an improvement competitively on the pitch though, our league positions have gone backwards since he's come in - but let's not make out that Brands is the reason we've struggled. Walsh and Koeman crippled this club.

Most of FFP burden is from before Brands.

Agreed - he/Benitez cannot be happy with the squad currently. Sadly, I'm not holding my breath.

Just seems to be weeks of inactivity, but he's got the time to be giving Richy a clap for his Olympic gold?!

Jeez, that team makes my eyes bleed.

Literally only pickford and gueye I would have from that starting 11. Keane as a squad player but not a starter.

Wow. There’s a few on the bench there that should be starting but it’s grim.

Youd have thought a lot of them players would have been on a fraction what the likes of Iwobi, Delph, Gomes and Bernard are/were on, though.

You're right though, I shouldn't presume to have the foggiest what's going on in that man's head - he practically begged for the job in the first place which makes his judgement suspect.

This is it for me, and I’ve always been a defender of his. Absolutely has to sign a good right back or he will be viewed as a failure.

when you look at the model of Leipzig and you compare what brands had achieved during his time here, it’s an absolute disgrace.
I’m quite sure his shortlist are 90% made up of top 6 rejects, Barra rejects and nothing else.
