Perhaps this time it could have some merit. I’m not disregarding what you say, if you look at our problems they clearly are deeper than the managerial position.
I can only speculate but it seems to me, and others no doubt, that Brands, Moshiri and Kenwright are all getting in each other’s way. The net result is a managerial Merry-go-round and seriously hit and miss recruitment. Those at the top of the club need to sort out who is doing what and stick to that.

Benitez said in September that there is money available though. He stated that after a conversation between him and moshiri.

He then said last week that they have to be creative with transfers and will be looking at loans and low fee transfers.

I don't know, maybe he was under the impression that there would be money to spend because we saves over the summer, but now has realised there won't be any until the summer.

Another recent quote ‘“I met the owner and the sponsor and the directors [before joining] and everybody was telling me that we have great ambition and everybody wants to do well to create a competitive team that could go to the new stadium winning something or playing in Europe. The ambition is there.

It looks like Benitez is starting to call out Brands. Saying it shouldn’t be Moshiri getting any criticism as he’s the one who’s put the money in.
Benitez is probably just cozying up to the owner.
But Brands is not doing a good job with our recruitment, youth academy and medical department are regressing. And Brands seems to like to leave things late in the transfer window and sort of "forces" his preferred players onto the Managers. This is a dangerous game to play, because Brands' players might not fit into the coach's gameplan.

Like signing Iwobi when the team really needed a right winger. Or signing Ben Godfrey (not a tall defender and part of Norwich defense that conceded the most goals) when the team needed (still need) a commanding presence at the back. Signing a prospect in Moise Kean, when the team needed a first team striker. Or trying to sign AMN, who wants to play as a midfielder, to be a RB successor. and trying to sign VDB because he is Dutch.

He’s literally just been given a brand new bumper 3 year contract. He’s Moshiri’s mate, mental if you think he’s going anywhere. He’ll survive another 5 managers.
Which makes it even more baffling that Moshiri hasn't given Brands total authority over FF.

Instead you have BK, DBB, Moshiri himself all poking their noses in and muddying the waters.

You then have RB bringing in a new member of the medical team, surely that's Brands remit?

I'm a big fan of the DoF model provided its used properly. We're nowhere near that ideal, so he's pointless.
