Moshiri has tried to get rid of him on two occasions.
Suppose he just slipped and accidentally offered him a new contract, easily done.

Considering our financial state a Sale for Kean, rather than that idiotic 2 years loan really would have been useful
has this guy made any decent sales, Gueye might be his only one
Whose multi are you mate?Oh yeah I know that. I'm saying him and Carlo got on very well. Whereas him and Rafael don't.
The Kean scenario has been an absolute farce. We are actually going to lose one of Europe’s most promising young players for nothing after having him on the books for 5 years and contributing nothing to us. How has that even happened?

You cant look at the Gueye deal in isolation - how much did he spend in fees and wages trying to replace him? Via Delph, Gbamin, Allan, The Duke and Gomes and we could still do with a midfilder.
Its bonkers.
Id be quite comfortable with us only bringing in frees / loans and cheaper deals in both Jan and the summer.
That would mean weve saved 2 years worth of transfer fees and as such would be able to go ballistic in 2023 before moving into the new stadium.
That deal reflects more on the state of European football finances which were hammered.Considering our financial state a Sale for Kean, rather than that idiotic 2 years loan really would have been useful

In Holland in found young prospects, the club improved them and sold them for a big profit, I can't think of any he has brought to us.
From that lot, Richarlison is pretty much nailed of for a significant profit, also in a couple of years Godfrey and Branthwaite should show a profit. Not exactly paying peanuts for these guys but should turn a healthy profit nonetheless. All 21 Everton signings made under Marcel Brands rated

Nkounkou was a free so might make some on him but his trajectory doesn’t seem too promising.
