Alot of fans wanted Dumfries based on his national team games (i didnt watch) but if they had been unfortunate to watch him for PSV they'd see a technically limited player who cant control a football or cross...

...basically modern day Coleman.

Hes flopped in Italy. Darmian is playing ahead of him and hes no better than average.

Now, you have to ask yourself why werent we in for Lamptey or Livramento the last couple of seasons?

Surely young English players will be scouted ?

If we had just got Livramento we'd see a massive improvement on our right flank.

Instead we chase his useless countryman all summer.

The reality is mate, we clearly don’t have a scouting network which scopes our potential talent.

We’ve got the likes of people linke Branthwaire who may make it, but Gallagher, Liveamento, they’re first team ready, and available for nothing.

Throughout our history we’ve been hard workers, and it’s what we expect. It’s not glamour, it’s not always effective but it’s what we expect as Evertonians, effort.

I grew up in Kendall III, Walter Smith… I’ve seen run of the mill players, but they always tried. They cared for our club.

We’ve cried poverty all season yet, where’s the Director of Football? Livramento was £5m, Gallagher loan, and the rest players who instantly change our dynamic.

If you’re doffing anywhere, go for the French league which is swarming with quality, and we just don’t have a direction, an identity.

I’ve never know a time where so many fans are so disconnected with the club. They seem utterly clueless to what is requested to succeed.

I think the problem is not one person is responsible for transfers i.e. the DoF. 3 people have a say; the manager wants to play a certain way which could differ from that of the DoF.

He could have identified all these people and the managers have said “nah”

The hierarchy of the club is a mess.

That’s basically it, it seems he’s just another voice in a very packed room of ideas.

I don’t think anyone, with the exception of Moshiri and Kenwright have any idea what he supposed to be doing

The Athletic reported the other day that Brands had only just instructed the U23s to play the same formation as the first team so when players are making the step up it's an easier transition.

The whole club is a mess.

Then it’s more of a reason why we’re a joke.

Moshiri, you own a football club and employ people to make football decision, why interfere.

Why the interview process never had the DOF and manager agreeing in the direction, it is mental.

Dysfunctional clubs like Man Utd do this. Successful sides like Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and even Leicester don’t, they work together and make it work.
