Well it gets rid of a completely useless 'Director of Football', so.... it fixes that?
No because you can replace him with someone equally as useless or you can continue to give each manager too much say making the next guy as handcuffed or you can just let managers do it all which kills any chance of continuity when managers leave. So it fixes nothing yet.

Iwobi was unforgiveable.

Why do you think I changed my name? I was done with the fella a long time ago, I do think he was unlucky with Gmblammo tho, but he wasnt in isolation.

Hes failed, an utter farce he was retained for another 3 years, rewarding failure, Everton that.

How much do you want for your Hugo Boss suit and ripped knee skinny leg jeans?

Does it?

Or does it show he’s finally getting pressure on the media, so he’s got to show he’s listening.

Glad brands has gone, but he’s the only one who didn’t want Benitez.

The rest remain on the board.

He did it to Koeman and Walsh after their failure.

Admit there's been pressure to make the changes but you can't say he's not listening.

Didn't Brands want Nuno as an offer was tabled to him?

Failed to impress any kind of strategy within the club. Probably had no chance to do that, given the fragmented power bases that seem to exist behind the scenes. Worrying times indeed

Shows how fickle and kneejerk the board/Moshiri is though doesn't it?

A whiff of discontent and the Director of Football who was given a 3 year gig in April and suddenly, bang. Change.

People queried and doubted if any discontent towards the board would have any influence - well here is your answer.

If my view, the pressure has to keep on. Moshiri simply can not allow this failing board to continue.

Correct mate.

As soon as the pressure came, he did what people think he needed to do.

Same with Martinez, Silva, Koeman.

It’s farcical. The fella had his hands tied, and didn’t have full reign to do his job efficiently.

Of all the people who could’ve been sacked, Brands will mostly be the one whos impact will be felt the least.
