He had a lot of control even if it wasnt a full amount imo - did Moshiri sign Gomes? Mina? Digne? Kean? Sidibe? Lossl? Benard? Delph? Gbamin?

He was a disaster and im glad he's been booted - im not going to become a hypocrite and pretend he was some victim in all of this just because of who the manager is.

I think Brands was never let do his job. He should have manned up early on - once he bcked down the first time, he was a doormat.

He never appointed a manager. He was openly against signing Benitez and Ancelotti.

Loads of players were signed over his head, especially Iwobi whose signing he has been blamed for ad inifinitum.

Not saying all of his work was spotless, it clearly was not but I would love if he refused to sign the Non Disclosure Agreement and tells us the truth of what has been going on.

I actually think he owes us that much.

Moshiri is going to throw him a kings ransom to stop us knowing how inept he and his board are.

Recruit a player or two for January. We aren’t going to agree here, but I’d rather Brands did it than Benitez or nobody.

There’s 2 schools of thought:
1) He’s crap at his job and buys garbage
2) He gets overruled on transfers

Either option means Jan would not be a success with him here.

Brands staying wouldn't have caused any more damage than he leaving, because the people doing the actual damage (Kenwright, Moshiri, Benitez) are still at the club.
