Yep, traffic wardens work harder than this bloke and are more despised. Yet not one of them would give 30m for Iwobi. FFP may have saved us a fortune as if we'd have had a big budget this year he'd have bought a few Maguires and a Mings or two, he may have even tempted Figo out of retirement for 300k per week. And we'd still have no cover for for Seamus, Lucas and DCL.

No back up for Digne or Richarlison. Townsend and Coleman as our staring right hand side. No strength in depth anywhere other than CB. It’s so so bad!


This is what i would deem to be acceptable quality for our side. Perhaps a little harsh on Gray who thus far has been good! But the point remains - we are missing 2/3 starting quality players and a number of decent back ups. Brands has been so disappointing, there is no way any Everton fan can say he’s done a good job.

Doing a great job this fella isn't he. Only 5 games into a new season with a new Manager and we cannot field a full strength team due to a couple of injuries and zero backup and depth, heck we cannot even fill a subs bench with players that could be brought on. Nothing coming through the academy worth having and they are asking the stewards to sit on the bench soon to make up the numbers i here.

Director quality though apparently and no doubt Everton will extend his contract even further at some point. We have awarded everyone for being crap since Moshiri took over.

So depressing being this short this early.
