But on the other, theres Kessie, Kamara and Zakaria* all out of contract in the summer who will be available on reduced fees or pre contract agreements.
VDB wouldnt really make sense if we could land one of those 3.

Now it’s alerted other clubs, and only leaves potential disappointment again, when United see us as “rivals” and don’t do business with us.

If fans can see the stupidity in him waffling to the dutch media about players he wants then its really worrying and highlights how incompetent it is.

I don’t think Godfrey is even in the Footy Manager Brands uses for scouting.

This thread always makes me laugh. A bad player = Brands. A good player = Anyone but Brands. A lot of his role is not just the signings, but also getting those deals over the line. So even if it's a Rafael signing, Brands will be the one sorting out all negotiations. Transfer fees, contracts etc.
I miss when football used to be a discussion about the manager and players. Now it seems players can get away with putting in half a shift with no blame.
I guess Godfrey is that out of position on the right he's technically playing on the left aswell. Masterclass.
