FWIW I still think of the available managers out there, Tedesco is the one who seems to suit our needs the best as things stand as he has that track record of instantly improving sides whenever he takes over. On the assumption that he won't be considered because the board have never heard of him, I don't hate the idea of Bielsa at all, but I'd accept that the chances of us staying up are small.

Think some Evertonians have finally lost their minds. This "if we're going to go down let's go down fighting" take is awful, if Everton go down there's a bloody good chance we'll never come up again - our priority should be finding a manager who has the best chance of keeping us in the league and then we can dream about managers who play high-pressing all-action football - but right now, with this squad, in the position we're in? Hell no.

Arteta would not have replicated the Arsenal success with us - would have been sacked like all the others. We are an extremely poorly run football club, with an owner whonhas no clue but plenty of money to do permanent damage!!

Arteta would have failed here just like all the rest of the managers have, bringing him here wouldn't have resulted in success.

It's been said time and time again, the problems lay deeper than a string of managers and directors of football.

Any manager they bring in they have a sub par squad, no money to spend, a board in disarray and a clueless owner anyone who thinks Biesla is going to save this mess doesn't see the bigger picture.
A manager who’s transformed a toxic Arsenal to being clear at the top of the table and on course for 100 points would have done better at Everton than what we’ve had, mates.

This smacks of when the board of the FA were being constantly badgered over why they stuck with English managers who were in the dark ages playing a rigid 4-4-2. They then appointed Sven Goran Ericson and Fabio Capello. Both foreign managers who were notorious for sticking to a rigid 4-4-2!! Of course the FA didn't know this, they just knew they were foreign! Moshiri won't have a clue how Bielsa managed, he'll just have seen the fans loved him at Leeds and think he can appoint him and the fans will shut up.

Good morning guys.

The vaults remembers your faults. Like the time you argued against going after Mikel Arteta as Everton Manager. Look at that league table.

I may match up some of the Arteta dissenters with their opinion now so the good people of board can tell who simply don’t know their soccer yet are too arrogant, thick to deal in definitives again.

You are sick and I am your medicine.

The Marco Bielsa thread, ladies and gentlemen.

Let the records know @chicoazul I was pro Arteta and Howe please.

I also didn't rate Lampard, Koeman, the fat waiter but I was a fan of Silva.

I also mocked the fans who heaped praise on Walsh and Brands.

This squad of players isn't fit for purpose for any manager. Its so short of quality and desire that whoever comes in, I'd give them a 10% chance of keeping us up.

So if it is Bielsa, then the club need to be prepared to give him a pre season and next season to implement his style.

There's not one manager out there who will sort a "quick fix", not when the next 2 games are Arsenal and rs
