I agree with what you say about Silva all right.

I just thought it funny you going into a rant about Goodison being tixic and wanting Huddersfield to win at Goodison when the match is at their ground :)

If we don`t get a result at Huddersfield which given our away record! Goodison could become Toxic, next time we play there. Could make Silvas position untenable..

What I meant to say...

as far as I can tell, there isn't that much deadwood at finch farm.

they are all out on loan

who is silva being forced to work with that wouldn't be in the squad otherwise??

davies at most...

this squad is mainly of his choosing. no excuses

and we cant do ANYTHING about it, till we shift all our loan players out permenantly.

3 years time we should be able to sign replacements

I answered your first question.

Please stop flip flopping.

You know what’s the best way to judge his man management skills?

Performances and results.

The players are bereft of confidence and have been since the derby.
He wal;ked into a catastrophe here at Everton. We are about where I expected us to be in his first seasopn. If we end the last 15 of the season in decent form I'm well pleased.

Sadly I fear the end is nigh and if we lose the next 2 games he will probably be gone.

Take no pleasure in saying that because I had very high hopes for him, but if it's not happening then it's not happening.

Gutted in fact, because it means it will have been another wasted season trying get back on track and we will have to start all over again next term.

The only small crumb of comfort is that Brands gets to choose the next gaffer because Moshiri's record in picking managers is already appalling.

Everton do my head in.

even tho it will hopefully fall on brands lap to get a new manager in, something tells me blue bill and Mr Catastrophe will end up butting in and making it, as ever, a sh1tshow.

Oh come on, Frank.
Burnley beat us under Sam with very similiar type goals.
Have a butchers at this, particularly their second goal....and telll me Sam’s team didn’t conceed shambolic goals from set plays like yesterday.

As promised the other day,in the event of defeat at Millwall, I have joined your team of Silva Outers......but I am not having owt Sam did held up as a reason for kicking the fellow.
Especially when Sam was no great guru at defending set pieces either.
Edited fir @BigBlueNose because I firgot to include tge Youtube clip :(

Sam had Cuco and Williams at the back? Frank is right, we win that game yesterday under Sam and would certainly be higher in the league.

I agree it's worrying.

Tbh if we lose on Tuesday it may well be too much. But there's more than just Silva to blame as well.
I fully agree.

But sadly I think most of the damage was done by Walsh and the moshiri /kenwright of doing things.

I have quite a lot of faith in the next 5 years alone under brands. Any dof that walks in and does that sort of business in 3 months actually fills me with hope that he can build a talented squad after a year to prepare now

For me its not strictly the manager's fault, but he must shoulder a decent proportion of the blame. He has the authority to change the team however he wants with respect to formation, style and starting eleven.
However, its much, much deeper than that at Everton. We all know it is. Why be in denial, and for Christ's sake why keep calling the manager a 'fraud'? He's not a fraud....he may well be out of his depth or tactically naïve, or he may just be struggling to get his concepts over to the squad (all of which in a black and white world will likely lead to him being dismissed of his duties), but a fraud he isn't. I didn't think Blues would lower themselves to that.

Our issue is lack of character, belief, confidence and balls. Simple as that. We have had, and continue to breed a losing, soft-arse mentality.

The players are getting away with murder on the whole. There are seasoned professionals in that starting line-up that are simply playing atrociously, not learning and not adapting. The team has no backbone....its spineless. It has no on-the-pitch leader to drag games and players by the scruff of the neck and not allow them to hide. We scapegoat players for the wrong reasons.....Sigurdsson gets grief yet he's our most able and fittest player. I watched Mina wilt yesterday physically and mentally because they had a bruiser of a centre forward roughing it up a bit and the weather was unpleasant. I think of the less-talented centre halves we've had over the years who would have ripped the forward a new one rather than let him beat them in every challenge. He cried off at half time and sulked on the bench for the rest of it.

For the next few games we need to man-up and fight tooth and nail for the points. We need players who will commit 100% to every tackle, every challenge and turn every 40:60 into a 70:30 for us. I'd get McCarthy back in the side, leave Zouma in and if he's fit Beni Baningame. Tackle anything that moves and get the crowd up for it with some ferocious tackling. Everton are a pushover...we know it, and everyone knows it. Theres only 11 people who can change that in the 90 minutes and that isn't the manager.

So you are happy we have just been turned over by a Millwall team not at full strength and in the match out battled and out thought, happy to get knocked out of the other cup by a crap Southampton team ok with the fact entertainment wise we are awful, our away form is embarrassing and we are below Watford Wolves Liecester and west ham but that's ok, well I tell you what mate I'm total pissed right off.

He won’t change a thing. Injury prone and he just isn’t that good.

You`ve probably still got me on ignore, but I`ll answer this any way.

Allardyce was brought in to stop us getting relegated, nothing more nothing less.

However, with his 18 mth contract he was also given the opportunity to prove that he could deliver a style of football, that wasn`t footballing equivalent of eye aids.

Even we were safe he continued to play his up and under footy.

He then decided to troll and belittle the fans, when we dared to complain about his " no shots on goal " brand of football.

In short, he was the master of his own downfall.
Exactly how I feel about Sam’s tenure. After his ‘because it’s Everton’ comments when asked why he accepted the job, I really hoped he would grasp the opportunity. After all, he managed to persuade some tremendous footballers to sign for Bolton, presumably for them to not play hoofball. Baffled as to why he just didn’t go for broke once he’d ensured we were safe.

Pleased we have a manager who can get us playing football....you see, I can remember just two months ago when the majority held that view.

The level of fickleness on forums shouldn't be a cause for amazement.

Had us playing football for what though, a month or so? Away from that we've been so so poor. Seems to be having trouble motivating the team and picking them up which is a worry, probably not helped by his constantly negative demeanour.
