He needs to go. We have gone backwards st an alarming rate since the derby. We are awful. Turgid, predictable. No fight, no energy. No plan. 20 odd minutes before a shot on goal. At home, to wolves! He obviously can’t motivate the players or get a system for them to play well in. No confidence and no desire. Sick of being bullied of the park, especially at home. Far too easy to play against. I despair for us, I really do

Yeah I said that on Friday.

Brands is here now so I expect continuity in transfers.

The main job this summer is to clear out most deadwoods and get about 3/4 new players in. The main issue is to get the right manager with proven records and prestige. Hope Moshiri can get one...(run).

He may not even make the end of the season with the way things are now tbh. We are that awful we would struggle in the championship and there are no signs that we can improve. We just have nothing at all anywhere on the pitch. I will be surprised if we win one more game this season unless something drastic happens. Really sad and i hate all of this changing managers but he has shown he isn't the right Manager to take us forward now no matter what happens the rest of the season and we shouldn't settle for cack as a club anyway imo.

The last 2 months have not been transition, they have been very poor Management from Silva and very poor attitude and form from the players but then that goes back to the Manager too as it is his job to Manage and change and improve that and he isn't capable. 17 day break coming up after the Watford game next Saturday so if we lose both these next games and are as atrocious as we have been the past 2 months, he could be in trouble with such a lengthy break.

Silva and Brands have brought in their own 2 centre halfs in Mina an Zouma to fit that system as well.

Back in August/September you could argue it'll take some time for players to adjust, but I'm not accepting that argument any longer.
Not only that, we looked defensively (as well as every other aspect across the pitch) better in the first third of the season. We've regressed significantly the longer the season goes on. Look at yesterday, a high line against a pacy counter attacking team with Michael Keane, Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman. That's just gross negligence.

Unfortunately, Silva can't make bad players good. Keane will never be anything other than a poor defender. We need a long term replacement for Coleman. We have no dominant midfielders. We have no prolific striker. Walcott, most disappointingly, seems to have given up.

Get good players in those positions (4 players) and we'll suddenly look like a completely different team.

So you don’t think it’s the way he setup to defend setpieces?

He could have asked his defenders to defend deeper and attack the ball, heading it away like Big Nev said. This highline crap has proven it doesn’t work for this team and he persists with it through thick and thin.

With our home run in and current form, we could realistically finish 14th or about there. If that happens, idk how you keep him.

“You can’t sack a manager when we enter a poor run”.

“You just can’t chop a manager every season”

“A new manager will want his new players”.

“He needs time to implement his style”.

That's just false tho. Sir Alex Ferguson won about 12premier league titles taking ok players and making them play great. His last title win the team was just dross.

THAT is what a manager is SUPPOSED to do. Work with what your have and make them better as a whole.

Ain’t a miracle he draw against Soton then lost 3 times in a row to Palace, Sunderland and Spurs. He could have saved them.
Spurs were on a bit of a roll I recall they were down when that game cam. The Sunderland one was the killer. Motm performance from Pickford kept them at bay.
