Andre is premier league proven and much more of a winning manager..

AVB managed for 2 seasons in total - two thirds at Chelsea, which was a miserable failure, a full season at Spurs (which was by no means a success or improvement), and a further third at Spurs, which was a miserable failure.

I don't know how being sacked twice within his 20 month period of PL management is anywhere near the definition of "proven".

Ok mate

Did avb steal the jam out of your doughnut??

Results? We were absolutely spanked by nearly every top-6 team we played, once he'd alienated enough of Redknapp's tactics and squad.

I nearly gave up on football thanks to him. It was unbearable to watch the weird football he put on; not defensive or hoofball, but much worse - we looked like a team that was forever attacking but never looked like we would ever get close to scoring.

Thanks for putting the loon straight.

He drinks a lot of white cider during the day, so you have to make allowances.

We are creating chances mate, now I realise stats are misleading and some of these shots wont be worthy of the name, but I wish I could compare those numbers with last season for example.

Yesterday we struggled to break down Leicester as such, we always struggle when teams put a good shield in place, but to be honest 90% of it was just terrible passing and a complete lack of movement. A very tired performance, I get fatigue, but it wasnt fatigue.

We've deffo created more under Silva but what are they countingas shots like? There's absolutely no chance in this world we had 17 shots vs Leicester that is pure fabrication.

100% not fabricated.

If you check here it highlights all our shots, who made them, where they went.

Can't see what we have to gain by getting rid of him now. If Koeman got 15 months (his first season was only respectable thanks to us having a striker) then SIlva should get more time too.

Not saying I'm totally convinced, but chopping and changing managers has only resulted in a confused and over-empowered squad. Trying to get players with a a mix of Moyes/ Martinez/ Koeman/ Allardyce ethos to play to Silva is unlikely to be successful. Give Silva time to at least replace the Moyes (!) generation and see what happens.

As soon as things aren't well at Goodison we're getting on their backs, understandably. The easiest thing for those players after their performances has seen three of the past four managers sacked in the space of a couple of years? Blame everyone but themselves.

Let Brands/ Silva get the players in and out, and see what happens then. We're not getting relegated this season, we're not getting Champions League either way for a year or two. We most likely won't win any silverware either. So try and build something- like we let Martinez. That one didn't work, but I'll be damned if I can go through this panic each year.

I didn't hate AVB but the football was boring. Bale at (or close to) his peak gave our results an air of respectability. I will always be grateful to AVB (and Clint Dempsey) for getting our first win at OT in decades.
