If I performed at work like he has done I’d get the sack. I spend my hard earned money on the club so I’m allowed an opinion

You’d probably be ok to be honest. If you performed badly after 6 months you’d either still be in a probation period so they could get rid as per your contract or they’d put you on some sort of performance improvement plan.

Read the small print in your cone-tract.

I'm fine with Marco Silva, but my heavens do I love watching Marcelo Bielsa's teams. My lord do they run. They attack with serious numbers.

He's had a full pre season, he has got players in that he wanted and look at the league table, he's gone, it's just a matter of when.

17 games to go and 51 points on offer, so if you're going to judge why not wait till the end of the season instead of 7 months into his tenure.

Another thing, if we got shut of Silva now and brought another manager in, and he didn't do much better than Silva, do we then get rid of that manager, and bring another one in? I mean where does it end, do we keep sacking managers who aren't doing too great after seven months until we find the right one?

I'm assuming the confidence quote is from this afternoon's (Fri) press conference?

What do you expect him to say bar bland answers to bland questions? It's a media commitment that needs to be fulfilled so he pretty much has no option but to sit there stating the obvious for the allotted time.

Should he instead be rocking the boat? Or perhaps sagely ruminating on the meaning of life or delighting all those gathered with tales of wonder and inexplicable curiosity? Dim the lights and tell folk tales from his Portuguese homeland maybe? Or an academic dissection of the Norse sagas and how the many themes and morals are still relevant to, and reflective of, modern society?
Ha ha funny this. It kinda encapsulates the plight of the super fan.

To be fair even if he said something interesting I would struggle to understand his too cool for school Portuguese murmurings. I do miss a manager I don't have to rewind and play again to catch what they are saying!
