Absolute myth that about moyes at Utd

He was given very little money to spend and the players he did sign were great purchases

Fellaini has saved them in multiple occasions and was the reason why they beat juve in champions league and mata is world class

Moyes was never given an opportunity at Utd to splash the cash
Exactly- they went with Moyes in the hope he could run Man Utd on the cheap, like Wenger was for a while at Arsenal. Problem is with Man City having unlimited funds, they could not get away with it. Does anyone really think Moyes was first choice? Fergie admitted he had been trying to speak to Guardiola and the like and got blown off.

Yes he did. Moyes wanted Herrera (who LVG then bought and has been good for them) Kroos and Bale. They let him buy Fellaini as they wouldn’t back him for other midfielders then in January he bought Mata. Both are still there 5 years later whilst the likes of Schweinsteiger Schneiderlin Di Maria Falcao Darmian and probably others I can’t remember have all been moved on already.
Always had a good eye for a player did old Davey boy!

Silva with another stupid statement

Once the players play with confidence they will play better - wow check out Sherlock Holmes

Stop stating the obvious and actually get the players to play better and train them better

Talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk

I'm assuming the confidence quote is from this afternoon's (Fri) press conference?

What do you expect him to say bar bland answers to bland questions? It's a media commitment that needs to be fulfilled so he pretty much has no option but to sit there stating the obvious for the allotted time.

Should he instead be rocking the boat? Or perhaps sagely ruminating on the meaning of life or delighting all those gathered with tales of wonder and inexplicable curiosity? Dim the lights and tell folk tales from his Portuguese homeland maybe? Or an academic dissection of the Norse sagas and how the many themes and morals are still relevant to, and reflective of, modern society?

“I have been on my knees, begging Brands to give me a decent striker, or at least a pay raise!”

wrong

interview with evertontv on thursday

http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2019/01/10/silva

From that video.....

"You said that you want goals to be coming from all around the team so are you pleased that your two wingers got on the scoresheet today?"

Marco then mentions Lookman and Bernard scoring. That sounds like a post-match interview after the Lincoln game to me. Just because the article has 10th January on it that doesn't mean the interview took place on the 10th January.

He won’t last long as manager he is clueless and for the board to think the squad is good enough.. wake up dummy’s

Ok let’s have a look then.

He’s appointed in the summer (that’s 7 months ago by the way). He clears out the deadwood and last and out a load of players to reduce the wage bill. He then brings in some high class players ( a significant improvement on what we have)

He then provides some nice attacking football (isn’t that what we were craving under that godamn awful reign last season) admittedly it’s been inconsistent, but the blokes been here 7 months!!!

We now have potentially high class players in the team, such as Digne, Gomes, Pickford, Richarlison, Bernard. We have a decent set up with Brands leading the way. A vision at last to become successful. A wonderful new stadium in the offing, in spectacular surroundings and the desire to improve the team even further.

And you come out with the manger/ Board is clueless. What shall we do then? Sack him? Who should we get in instead? Shall we start all over again with a new manger and his new players and new vision? What if that doesn’t work after 7 months? Shall we get another new man in?

Wake up and smell the coffee. Silva needs 3 transfer windows at least to shape the side he wants. Not one window.

Judge him at the end of the 2020 season.

If I performed at work like he has done I’d get the sack. I spend my hard earned money on the club so I’m allowed an opinion
