They do if they've been told they can. If the remit from Brands is to have a play around and see who he wants to keep/who can fit into the system etc, with no threat of the sack unless it all goes massively downhill, then that's what he'll do.

Obviously I have no idea whether that's the case, but it's certainly not beyond the realms of possibility.
The only problem with that is if we lose at Huddersfield then lose the difficult run of home games we have coming up it could go massively downhill very quickly.

So?

I would still be lol my leg off at the chumps who made such an obsession of signing what is looking like a pretty average manager, Mike.

I'm surprised people can't see the funny side. If that was us, it would be all over the forum. We made a big hoo ha of getting Marco from them and we are no better off, of course they are laughing, I would be.

If it was us i'd be cringing at how small time, petty, and classless it was, and shaking my head at how we'd left ourselves wide open for ridicule if we slipped back below them and/or Silva turns out to be a successful manager either here or elsewhere. I'd also be wondering whether we'd undermined our case to the PL by making a public statement which suggested that the manager we're claiming was just unsettled by another club and therefore had to be sacked, was actually just not very good.

Why? He basically downed tools there when we flashed our knickers at him, and now he's not doing great they're enjoying it.

I would be in their position too.

Maybe as a fan base but through the official club Twitter account it’s a bit embarrassing. Hardly professional.

I can understand them laughing I really can, we've chased after their bird who looks a 9 or 10 after a few beers and woke up with a 4 or 5 with out the make up on. I hope that analogy makes sense, it could be utter nonsense ha.

Yeah I wouldn't blame their fans for having a laugh (although in your analogy they've just ended up with another girl who's a 4 or 5 so they're not exactly winning at life) but for the club's official channels to do it is a bit crass. It doesn't bother me like, but it's not the sort of thing I'd be happy to see Everton doing.

Oh I didn't realise it was the official club twitter, yeah that's a bit cringe like. I thought it was supporters.

Stardust costs money...that we don't have.

I think we do and time will show that.
I think you’re clutching at straws tbh.

His pressers are becoming increasingly defensive and he’s giving the impression that the pressure is getting to him.

Managers in this situation don’t experiment mate.

I disagree that he gives the impression he's under pressure.....he isn't.

Manager's fully aware that they will be here next season do experiment and you know, I know, everyone knows.....he will be our manager at the start of next season, 100%.
