What dough?
By the sounds of it they wont even discuss dough.
At this point its about pride for Watford, nothing else.
An amount they would accept otherwise this is all pointless unless silva has said on the quiet I want in at Everton

Hard to say. Sometimes clubs do take a hard stand - VVD at the RS for example.

Hard to say. Sometimes clubs do take a hard stand - VVD and the RS for example. You would think mid season this would be even more likely to be the case.
This would be my thinking, everyone better has turned us down, and we don’t fancy an Allardyce/Dyche type.I've no qualms whatsoever if they don't budge and let us talk to him or he doesn't resign for fear of what that might do to his reputation. In normal circumstances what you would do is move on and go for the next boss thing on the list.
Problem I have is I don't believe they have a list of potential quality candidates and it was Silva or we are screwed.
Agreed you have to think everything is in reality out in the open.Im pretty sure hes already told them he wants to join us, but they arent interested.

Well if he has then we have to offer a stupid amount of money. And I would rather we did than keeping unsworth
A club like Watford know that they are one wrong managerial move away from relegation as well.Well same, but sometimes people just dont have an amount of money, sometimes its about pride.
These fellas from Italy are used to getting their own way, they own 2 top flight football teams and have just recently sold another, I cant imagine they are short of dough.

I’m praying it’s not the “one name on the list” like what happened with the striker situation during the summer window.

Well if we keep asking them after they've said no then we would be in breach yes. You've said that yourself. Assuming they want to report us that is. I've given my reasons as to why they'd want to retain him if they continue to win.
We have a few players we could offload for some dough, we need a Striker, if we do nothing else.
Can see it becoming a bit of a revolving door, at a guess 4 in, 4 out, I'd prefer if we had a more long term manager in place for the window.
A striker is a must, I'd like to see someone resembling cover for Baines, it's horrible seeing right footed players attempting, maybe Mori could do it, not sure is he dead or alive atm though and a centre half, that'll do for me for a start anyway.
It's ok Moyesie doesn't look that he will be at wham for long, he is going to come back and like moses lead us to safety...
