Last season we capitulated in the second half of the season watching football that made me want to rip up my ST and go and watch the local non league team

This season we have strengthened our midfield and attack and squad in general and playing some sublime football.
Haha.....C'mon mate Watford and sublime in the same sentence..............:drunk::hayee:

Despite the petty arguments here we can at least find some common ground.

It’s an age thing. The money in football has killed the game - far preferred the days of sitting on wooden cinema seats at Rochdale in Div 4 (admittedly a touch of rose tinted glasses though)

Having said that, this season has reignited my love of the game. That may be down to Silva, our style of play or squad or all 3

17 of those goals were conceded against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Everton. Not sure where you get easy schedule from
You haven't played United, you haven't played Tottenham, you played Liverpool, Man City, and Arsenal at home, and played Chelsea away. That's pretty light.

We'll see. The sublime football still has you in the exact same position you were in last season at this point playing the football that made you want to support a different team.

18 points from the first 12 games in 2016. 22 points from the next 26 games

If we keep this side together through the transfer window then I can assure you our return from the remaining games will be far greater in 2017

Our expectations are far lower than your own. A top 10 finish playing exciting football will keep me very happy. It was only 5 years ago that my club was flirting with administration

Righto...maybe if I expected CL football then those games may be important. With an expectation of a top 10 finish then those games are irrelevant

As you are currently situated only 3 points from the drop zone (courtesy of our capitulation) I would presume that you are also far more interested in results vs the the lower and mid table teams

No more than any other teams, no. We’ll get our new manager, spend a lot in January, and shoot for Europe again. Bad start though.

I would take top 10 for everton with Unsworth this season playing the kids.

Then make signings in January and kick-on in the summer with loads of u21 players who have game time.

I think your team looks exciting on the break, Silva's tactics seem good but he could do with better defenders...

He might not even last that long lol

I must say I feel no great sense of missing out if he is not coming..

Four points from the last six games at Hull isn’t my idea of a “near miracle” :(:(

Indeed Khal, his achievements have come in leagues equivalent to the the SPL, he had a new manager effect at hull before imploding.

This had disaster written all over it
