Who in their right mind will sign for an interim manager.... that will push us on?!?

Serious question.

I wouldn't if I was a player, get bought by someone who isnt going to be in the job long term, with the potential to being sacked off by the new man (if one ever comes)....

Then players would never sign for Chelsea or Watford etc

...the U23s have just been hammered by the Reds U23s. I doubt Unsworth will be promoting anybody that isn’t already in the first team squad.

u21s
Kenny
Holgate
Baningime
Davies
Lookman
Calvert-Lewin
Vlasic

I think (although its bizarre vlasic has been dropped) that unsworth would use them more effectively until a new manager comes in.

The ideal situation is to have them all classed as 1st team players by a new manager and not 'kids' who need gametime.

That's not gonna happen really.

Unsworth stays we hold our breath until we hit 40 points

I think it would be beneficial to have Unsworth have the next couple of games. See if he can get 4-6pts which sends us into a more comfortable position.

Watford have permanent managers with 2 year contracts (at least)... regardless if they sack them or not, when signing the player they have an assumption the manager could be there for the 2 years, not 5/10 games.

Chelsea is a slightly different beast, on every level to be honest mate am pretty shocked you would even include them in any argument. League winners, challenging for the league every year (nearly), champions league, high wages, London, playing with world class players... do I need to go on? its VERY clear why players would sign for them even if their manager situation fluctuates.

While I wasn't 100% sold on him mate, just the fact it looked like some progress was being made was something to actually focus on and get excited for.

The reality that the board look to be sitting on their thumbs while everyone is saying they are doing "Due Diligence on candidates" is absolutely baffling.

They have made a total mess of this - let's hope the board now provide some leadership, direction and more importantly communication to us fans.
One things for certain though, things have to change at the top - it's simply not working.

You've listed 3 things there mate I don't believe will happen, or the club know how to... Leadership, direction and communication just aren't associated with the club currently, I badly wanted it to be different but its just an absolute shambles.

Watford fan here

Silva is not the messiah he's made out to be. We've got exactly the same points as this time last year but we've spent £40m+ on the squad since then. Richarlison, Cleverley (crap for you, but doing great for us), Chalobah, Carrillo, record signing Gray, Femenia plus more squad players. We can't defend and we never look comfortable even at 2 goals up (as you lot know) because of it. He might end up being the second coming, he might not. It would be a big gamble for you lot and you're best off not making it in my opinion. Just putting a different slant on things compared to the media love in.

And considering our defence are as wide as the Mersey and our 2 holding midfielders can’t defend this will be like adding fuel to the fire

There’s more to togger than pretty football lads. He’s massively overhyped by the media

TBH, I wouldn't want a player who didn't think they were good enough to play under any manager anyway.

I dont mean it from that way, say Unsworth goes out saying I want a number 11 - then the next manager comes in and doesn't want to play wingers, but full backs... that player is then redundant in the new managers plans.
