They cant threaten legal action if you are going to the board of Watford with new offers. They are well within their rights to say No but what rules are we breaking? If they say we are tapping up that's something different...

I've been following this thread with interest for some time without joining in, give it up, Silva is not joining you in the near future nor end of season. Why would he want to ? Basket case club run by people with no understanding of football.

I take the opposite view.

If any manager could not come in and make some sort of immediate improvement on what we have now then he really would not be worth his salt in the first place.

It is such a low base to start from it would be harder not to make an improvement if you ask me

Is fair comment.
My issue is the calibre of defender especially.....as I think they are already playing at their top of their game!
Nowhere to go with them. 3 are over the hill, (Williams, Jags, Baines) 2 are not ready and might not make the grade.(Kenny, Holgate)
Keane suffering badly with the mess around him.
Whoever does come in and whenever, they have a pile of gash to work and I do not see us wining games quickly until we get better players in.

Fair play to any man who can string a few wins together with the current squad!

Anyway, I'm supposed to be getting ready for work..

It's a dance. With rules.
Trouble is everybody interpretes the rules a little diferrently, especially if they have expensive dance tutors (known as a legal team) on the payroll.
