Simeone is a pipe dream. Silva is not flavour of the month, he’s a very talented manager who has shown his ability across different leagues and different levels. It’s no surprise that we are after him but there has to be a line in the sand where if we haven’t got him we move on.

Under the Pozzo leadership I truly believe that we will be able to become an established Premiership football team that doesn’t have relegation concerns. Regular top ten finishes and flirting with that magical 7th Place. We will be financially solvent and not have any concerns of administration. We will still have concerns over selling talent but they will only go if it makes good business sense and not because we need the money

To be fair, it is because Silva has been outed in the press as wanting the move. It's not like he has turned Everton down because he does not want to leave Watford.
