As Poole has been banned maybe I can answer...

Under the Pozzo leadership I truly believe that we will be able to become an established Premiership football team that doesn’t have relegation concerns. Regular top ten finishes and flirting with that magical 7th Place. We will be financially solvent and not have any concerns of administration. We will still have concerns over selling talent but they will only go if it makes good business sense and not because we need the money

You might not be as much of a yo yo club, so in that sense they would have achieved something, which would enable the club to take advantage of the premier league riches on offer.

However, Silva still wanted out when Everton flashed the cash, so you will always be seen as...well.....how can I put this? well just as Watford!

I know Everton are not a top six club either mate, I am not deluded. I suppose it's all about pecking orders and even with all of the stability in the world, if a more glamourous club comes along for anybody at Watford they will have their head turned, as Silva indeed has.

I've been following this thread with interest for some time without joining in, give it up, Silva is not joining you in the near future nor end of season. Why would he want to ? Basket case club run by people with no understanding of football.
History blah blah blah, that's all it is, consigned to the past.
Watford will never be a bigger club than you in my lifetime but we'll acheive more than you in the future, the future is bright, the future is yellow.

This sort of stupidity sums Watford up really. People have been very polite with fans on here, I'll be polite too, be factual in the face of your lies. Take the good word back to your pathetic little cronies on your boards.

We are not a basket case club. If we were, what does it say about your club, who finished every season below us, have a lower turnover, spend, attendance, fan base, trophy count (have you ever won a major honour)? and general standing.

Your owners are two Bob compared to Farhad Moshiri. Absolutely two Bob. They have ran Grenada into the ground, and are doing the same with Udinese. They are yet to acquire a top half finish.

If we want Silva, and there is a bureaucratic way we can get him him will come. It is that simple.

At present there's no mechanism to allow for that so he stays. He won't be our number one choice in the summer, but if we can't get our top targets he comes.

You are about 20 years off even being mentioned in the same breath as Everton. And that would be alongside a Manchester City style takeover. The Italian Delboy you all seem to love won't change that. You need to stop thinking football is an extension of some scarface movie. Nobody respects, fears or is concerned by your owners or your club.

I would strongly urge you start all discussions about any club with a healthy degree of honesty, and as appropriate respect for Evertons standing as the 4th most successful team. As a club you don't deserve any respect, though out of politeness I would always give you some by gratifying you with a reasonable response.

Which is fair enough mate, and I think that's achievable. Where the post is ignorant, is that is exactly where Everton have been for 30 years, which is by far and away the poorest period in the clubs history. Talking about overtaking a club, who your ambition is to emulate during their worst run in their history is ignorance and stupidity from him (but not yourself).

Davek, try as much as you like but I don't think you've really got a bite yet.
Typical Scouse with a chip on both shoulders.

Dave tell someone he truth mate, and is not a lying little rat like yourself (and a lot of your fan base). Come back to the points I've corrected you on Mr Big Shot.

Someone call the police. I've just witnessed a murder.

Just resign ffs, clearly he wants to come here after seen yet another interview where he hasn't committed himself to the mighty Watford.

and there you have why Silva's head would be turned mate, because we've had pretty much that over the past 20 years - and it is our least successful period of the entire clubs history. And is deemed as a massive failure by any sensible evertonian.

Not meaning to sound arsey over this, but in this league there's 3 clubs who wouldn't swap their history with ours given the choice, and probably only 6 who wouldn't swap their very recent present with us as well.

I want silva over the likes of dyce etc, because i believe his ceiling on what he can achieve is far far higher
Silva ultimately would want everton for exactly the same reason mate, the ceiling on this club is higher than any other he could realistically get atm.

As for the waiting for Arsenal etc type thing, he could easily end up waiting for something that never happens, seen it before with managers - remember the talk with Laudrup a whilst back being the next great manager etc at Swansea...
