Ended Portos 4-5 year unbeaten home record whilst at Estoril, beat Benfica away - beat Sporting away, beat the rs with Hull, beat Arsenal with Watford,m Beat Barca and Arsenal with Olympiakos, set a European record for consecutive wins to start a season when at Olympiakos, and went something like 3 years without a home loss - spanning three teams and three separate divisions (sporting, Olympiakos and Hull),

..and let’s not forget, @davek likes him.

I hope the first thing he does as manager is remove every single Moyes player from the club so we might have a chance of winning away at a big club.

No mate.

Edit: apart from Coleman

Was gonna say, Coleman is pretty much our best player.

Jags isn't to blame but can be moved on.

Baines needs to be a rotation option but still has a place imo. He has improved last few games and won us it last week.

The only other one left is Mirallas...

I like this guy, im very pro him.

"It might be the least requirement for an Olympiakos manager to win the Greek League but did Mr. Merson and Mr. Thompson have the knowledge that Marco Silva's team finished a record 30 points ahead of the second best team winning 28 of their 30 league games?

They set a record of 17 consecutive domestic wins - a European record in the 21st century. Silva also recorded 9 points in the group stage of the Champions League in a group consisting of Bayern Munich and Arsenal. There was also a historic 3-2 victory at the Emirates which is regarded as one of the club's most iconic results ever"

He lost 3-2 to one of the worst Everton teams ever after bein 2-0 up. And let Tom Cleverley take a crucial peno.

Just to bring you back down to earth a bit.
Guardiola got thumped 4-0 at goodison last year with Koeman in charge, doesn't make him a bad manager. These things happen sometimes

I think he could be ok. I like the theory that goes with the choice (if it happens): combines silk with a lot of steel.

I'd have to say though I've not seen too much of his teams to be sure of what he'd bring.

This is my worry with Silva. Watching that last 25 minutes against them was like watching the last 6/9 months of Martinez's reign. Given how badly we were on the ropes in all senses of the word, He should have been able to get his side to close out that game and take 3 points.
