Quite excited by the prospect of a Silva/Brands partnership despite admittedly holding a preference for Emery and (just about) Fonseca over the former Watford man, think they could work well together. Hopefully they'll both be in place in two weeks time and the rest of the house will be in order.
Also, whilst we're finally having a hierarchical reshuffle, I hope for the fans' sake that a new Head of Communications comes in to fill the void of silence that has emanated from the club since Myers' departure, it may not be a priority at board level but would present a sizeable improvement over receiving all news from the utter weapon that is Jim White.

We've 2 months before the start of training and less than 3 months before the first game of 2018/19.
If we are aspiring to be a competent and successful club we *should* have a football management organisation (not just a manager but coaching staff) in place this week, who have already assessed the current squad, who have identified targets to sign and have a board which is moving efficiently to get them whilst getting the chaff offloaded.
There's a lot to do, and not a lot of time.
These next couple of weeks will be the acid test of whether we have a significant change for the better in how our club is run or whether we are still rank amateurs.
Same could be said of Arsenal.

Greg O'Keefe saying the manager choice will be made by DBB and Brands.

I'm not having that. We're already being dragged through the FA by Watford over Silva.

More like DBB is telling Brands what Moshiri wants.
