Yeah I dont think he would have signed a 2 year extension had he planned to move elswhere this summer although I always found it intriguing that his agent had supposedly contacted the club last summer.

I do think it'll be Silva tbh and think delaying the move might look better on the clubs part with the legal battle with Watford however I would love if we announced we had drafted a shortlist and were interviewing a number of candidates.

Who suggested he is a better bet? Show me him because he is wrong. Ancelotti earned his stripes at a lower club by gaining promotion and got his shot at the bigger clubs. Everton are yet to be bracketed as a big club currently so he wouldn't step down. Only big club failure for ancelotti was I suppose Chelsea. Parma were at that time winning lots in Italy when he took over so it wasn't a building job really. The rest are big clubs were he was very successful. I am just trying to be realistic in saying they are all gambles one way or another.
