Thats the major concern for me. I cant handle another Martinez it was as frustrating as anything currently served up under Sam and we havent a Lukaku to bang the goals in under an all out attacking system and wont do unless Moshiri gives another £150 million kitty in the summer.

On the day he was sacked Watford were above where they had ever finished in the premier league. Despite the players having chucked it as he made it clear he wanted to come to us. Their next manager had a lesser win ratio and finished the league below where they ended up with Marco despite not having the upheaval Marco had to deal with.

Everton need to sit down and decide what kind of manager they want. Do they want someone to develop younger players or go in a different direction. What manager can get the best out of the players we have. What manager can play the type of football that will allow us to compete with the top six. What manager can find players good enough in a limited budget. But they’ve probably not done any of that. It’s simply oh let’s have him cause they’ve just beat united 2-0 he must be good
