Just Feck off Marco....relegation beckons lads....shows how far we have fallen...

Ah just like he relegated estoril. Nah, he didn't he took them from the 2nd Division in Portugal to Europa league despite having less than what 3000 fans a week.

Like what he did at sporting? Nah he won them their first trophy in 7 years in his one and only season.

Like what he did at olympiakos? Nah, he broke an all time Greek record for wins in a row whilst winning the league and putting arsenal to the sword in the champions league?

Like what he did at hull? Nah he too a side that had an 11% win ratio that just sold their best players and turned that into a 37% ratio. Remarkable but yeah he relegated them. Their win ratio with much the same squad is far less this season in the championship.

Or Watford. Had them flying high until we came calling. They were in their highest position ever in the premiership even when he was sacked. The subsequent manager has a lesser win ratio. Even including when the players chucked it under him when he made it clear he wanted to come here.

Silva is a fantastic manager. We will be lucky to have him. But yeah he relegated hull.

No place on here for sense.

Bed.

John Cross, in the paper we can't mention on here:

Everton are facing a tug-of-war over their No1 managerial target Marco Silva.

West Ham are also keen on former Hull and Watford boss Silva as they look set to replace David Moyes this summer.

Everton had been keen on Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca but it looks as if he is stalling as he is also on West Ham’s radar.

Everton’s players believe Sam Allardyce is leaving Goodison Park and that Silva will be coming in - but now they face genuine competition.

Silva, who was targeted by Everton before they appointed Allardyce, is keen on a move back into the Premier League and has been sounded out regarding Goodison Park.

Lets hope he goes to West Ham, dodged this bullet once, West Ham is a good for for him, mainly because it keeps him away from us

Unfortunately that's where we're at the minute. For neutrals, especially foreign ones, we are on a similar level to West Ham. And they're based in the capital which is a big draw.

What a time to be alive lol

Silva's managerial record on goals conceded per match for last 5 years:

Portugese second division 0.67
Portuguese first division 1.23
Portuguese first division 0.87
Portuguese first division 0.85
Greek first division 0.53
Premier League 1.90

So generally pretty good until he gets to the Premier League and then shocking. Can he not handle the different style of play in the Premiership, has he been found out and can't operate in this league? Big gamble for Everton to find the definitive answer to that question.
Or, just a theory, has he only managed [Poor language removed] teams who will always concede goals, since he has been here?
