Marco Silva

Its clear Moshiri wants a manager doing well in the prem- Koeman then Silva. Its lazy but this is the reality without a proper DOF.

Hopefully Brands comes in and gets the ability to act in the proper way a DOF should.

I'll back Silva but it has to be Emery or Wenger.

Maybe because we’re talking to someone else off the radar ?

That’s our problem. In decision

We clearly wanted silva now it seems we don’t. What has changed. We are still just as poor as we were when Koeman was here. We still have the same group of players. Why have we changed our mind on who we want? It’s complete indecision. When koeman left we needed to sit down and decide where we wanted to go and who we wanted. We decided on silva. So why are we now six months later confused as to what we want again?

We don`t know what`s going on, until an announcement is made.

Maybe we`re talking to him, Fonseca and other unknowns.

I doubt it very much, but we can all live in hope ;)

In reality it won’t be as we hope

Every summer I see us linked with top names like Mata Rodriguez etc and we end up with cast offs like Rooney and Theo

It will be the same with managers. Last time it was linked with Simeone and we end up with Big Sam.

I do feel sorry for evertonians who decades in still believe things will change

I`m choosing to look on the positives mate :

Allardyce almost deffo gone.
Elstone gone.
Looks like Kenwright is on his way too.
Brands coming in.
Which will probably mean Walsh getting booted.

There`s a plan in there somewhere, it just needs all linking up, which will take a bit of time.

As it stands Arsenal are the only team who are deffo replacing their manager, probably soon to be joined by us, maybe West Ham, but I can see Moyes staying there for at least another season.

They`ll be looking higher up the chain than us, so despite what the press say, the likes of Fonseca won`t be on their list.

Erm ....in case its escaped your attention we still have a manager in situ.

Till he's gone there cant be any announcement on a new manager.
Couple of days it'll all be over.
Bit of patience needed here freind.

I liked what Silva did at Hull. Very nearly keeping up one of the worst squads in Premier League history was impressive, as was the feat of guiding Hull to victory over Man Utd in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final. And as others have mentioned he did well to guide Sporting to their first major trophy in seven years.

However, for me it's his record at Olympiacos that's most impressive. Under his stewardship they won their first SEVENTEEN domestic matches of the 2015/16 season, eventually winning the Greek title (Superleague Greece) with ease. They also trounced Arsenal in the Champions League.

Cracking young manager.

He was never going to succeed at Watford. They're a small club with no money.

Why isn't he realistic

If Newcastle can get a manger like Benitez whilst in the Championship why on earth can't we get a guy like Emery?
well for one thing..much bigger clubs than EFC will be interested.
He will now want CL competition.
There is now going to be a managerial merrygoround in europe..he will have plenty of offers

Some people are available/ willing that weren't then?

Perfect for him then, he is a small club manager, which is the reason why he paniced when we called, West Brom be a good fit perhaps for him, should be no place near a top 10 club
