It's not even so much Silva that is the problem, its' the fact were trying so hard to get one man and one man only, it wouldnt' be so bad if he was a back up plan, but no all in on him

Btw, as good as Conte is, he would a) never come here, and b) he's a massive, massive ego. He's fallen out with over half the Chelsea squad now, including Willian, who has been their best player, and the reason he binned Luiz off was because Luiz and Rudiger both suggested Rudiger would be better suited to playing on the right of the defence rather than the left.
The guy's a winner and a class manager, and yes I'd take him obviously, but he doesn't come without his problems.
8th was great with that squad and the squad of managers we had last season.Lay most of the blame at Koeman never seen an ( I can't be arsed) more individual as Everton manager,incredible given the money and contract he was on.

We tried for Emery, interviewed Pellegrini and Koeman. Emery binned us off for PSG and Koeman was always considered on equal footing as him.

It's one thing for Conte to be available and another for him to want to come to us! It's not fantasy football! We have to be realistic and go for a manager that is hungry and has something to prove!
Silva may fail or may succeed either way he has been identified to be the right man by the club, it's our job to back him! To many fans are unrealistic and seek to forget where we are as a club!
Lads Conte doesnt even know we exist, give it up.
