A better idea is for the owner to call both Brands and Silva and ask them WTF has happened to the £200M spent since the pair of them took over less than 18 months ago. Ask them if they're in agreement on signings and sales and if not, why not.

And should I accept your resignation letter Marco?

That happens to the best teams though. Happened to City against Norwich the other week.

The point is to capitalise on the dominance then manage the game.
Yeah I agree with that. However it seems to be trend this season when the opposition attacks us with some purpose we either concede or make errors. And this is against lesser teams. It will interesting to see how we manage the city game.

just not deluded like you

I have no delusions, I recognise when a manager has done well and when he is failing because I stick with things through thick and thin like most of us here do, you on the other hand only pop your head in through the bad times or when players are sold but go missing when we are doing well like the tail end of last season

We need a proven WINNING manager who has actually won real trophies to replace Silva.

Mourinho or Simeone...
You seriously think Simeone would even contemplate coming here?
We need a manager who has the same qualities as Simeone & Mourinho and at the same stage where they were at when they took over Athletico & Chelsea.

500 million pound getting spent on a new stadium, massive amounts of transfer fees and wages on players many of whom aren't worth it and an effing unproven bargain basement manager to lead us there. It couldn't be any more Everton. The whole hierarchy needs restructuring and the priorities brought in line with the clubs ambitions. And feck all this give him the rest of the season and then sort it out lark. He has already had 44 competitive games. Why delay what is obvious and inevitable.

There are still 32 games and a couple of cup competitions left to go this season so lets sort the mess out now and try and be proactive and use this season as a building platform for the future instead of yet another season of frustration and mediocrity and a summer where there is not enough time to bed a new Manager in which immediately impairs the next season as well.

They wont though as mediocrity and being reactive instead of proactive is the very definition of Everton.

We'll park the bus and counter lol

We'll still lose like

No top club does this. Arsenal did, and they are now 6th in the mini-league, miles behind City. It's pointless.

The worrying thing is did Sheff Utd/Bournemouth/Villas players and fans truly believe they could beat us? Yes absolutely, theirs zero fear factor when playing us, whoever you are in this league putting in a shift gets you at least point against us, scoring first almost guarantees you 3 points.

Several people in here calling for Simeone. Do you not realise who we are? He's never heard of Everton. lol
Simeone is pie in the sky...BUT what we need is someone like him with the same mentality..tenacious..strong willed, adaptable..winning mentality and the ability to transfer those qualities to the team.
Take a look at this....his tactics
Simeone was regarded as a tenacious, versatile, hard-working and complete two-way midfielder who was mobile, good in the air and capable both of winning balls and starting attacking plays, also having a penchant for scoring several goals himself. This enabled him to play anywhere in midfield throughout his career, although he was usually deployed in the centre in a box-to-box or defensive midfield role.[12][13][14] A talented yet combative player, he was primarily known for his leadership, tactical versatility, intelligence, strength and stamina,[15] although he was also praised by pundits for his technique, vision and passing range.[12][15] Simeone once described his style as "holding a knife between his teeth".[12] His main inspirations as a player were Brazilian midfielder Falcão and German midfielder Lothar Matthäus.[16]

Meant to add this.

As I said for anyone saying Mourinho/Wenger are past it and could turn out to be disaster appointments - after the past few seasons whats the harm in trying?

If it goes well we have a trophy winning manager.

If it doesnt - well its no different to the past 6 years post Moyes.

They are at least semi realistic, I think Arsene may be done with the game now tbh, you could see that during his last season at Arsenal

Calling for Simeone is delusional on the highest level, he’s in no way going to leave the current La Liga leaders and CL football to come here to get this band of misfits with no Europe
