his targets here are nowhere near to what teams like united strive for.

success here would be the fa cup

we already have talented players that need to be coached properly and told how to perform against teams instead of this one dimensional silva approach,

all Mourinho would need is a huge contract and 3 or 4 players that suit his system.

get us closer to the top 4-6 and get us a trophy, fa cup or league cup ..

who knows , get us in the Europa and then give that a real good go.

we wouldn't need to be spending anywhere near 500m in order to get us slightly competitive.

Correct and the most important thing is that he would bring a culture of expectation and success that hopefully staff and players that are left behind when he leaves will continue to use to all our benefits.

Silva has 1 aim since he joined us. Somehow bluff his way into keeping his job.

Mourinho wont care what the fans think, the media or his players. He wouldnt care if he lost his job.
All he would do is everything in his power to bring success to this club like he has just about every year of his career as manager to date.

Silvas target like Koemans is to scrape back into Europe. Mourinho would demand we won things partly for his own ego to be known as a god at the club. If we were in the Europa he’d back himself to win it, he’d think he could win a league cup, he’d revel in the thought of ending the Anfield curse. Koeman Allardyce Martinez and probably Silva think all of the above are impossibilities for a club like Everton. That’s the mentality shift we need.
 

The truth of the situation is he has managed 6 games this season where we won 2 drew 1 and lost 3 in Premier League :-( Any other job in world he would have got warnings or sacked for incompetence! A club like Everton should have and with a proper cut-throat boss would have got 18 points but we got 7 ;-( Silva should be told 5 games going ahead win everyone or your fired !

That's your reasoning for him being a better choice? That he won a title with a mega money City squad who were outspending everyone before FPP was even a thing then.
Have you even looked at Everton's position and what type of manager we need.

We need someone who can take a poor midtable team towards top 6, so did West Ham, they went for a manager with the ability to do that, with the experience, we went for Silva.
