Who are the bad apples though mate? We've pretty much got rid of anyone who you could say would have been a negative influence.

This is pretty much Silvas squad now, a squad he ain't getting any kind of tune out of
Except the two lynchpin players Gomes and Gbamin who will deffo help make the team tick. It's a huge loss considering we have also lost Adrissa too. The team need these back asap to really see how Silva can deliver with a near complete side.

The worrying thing is the lack of focus, fight, and spirit in the team, not on Saturday but this has been apparent over the over games.

We seem to have started punch drunk again.

I thought big emphasis was placed on the "character" of new signings and to see such a lack thereof amongst some of them at least is a huge concern.

Work ethic and effort can paper over a lot of cracks whilst we get over injuries and bed new players in but I don't see near enough of it.

A huge amount of churn in the squad and still again there seems to be a shortage of leaders and talkers, with a few exceptions.

How do we know that about Gbamin? He played against palace and looked like he was struggling with the pace. Which is fair enough.
But its very optimistic to think he will come in and solve any issues there.

We aren't going down.

But suggesting we should only sack if things get even worse is mental. Less than a point a game is relegation form. Why would we wait till we are in that much trouble. It would really speak volumes about the club's priorities...

True. But if that happens it happens and the club will make the decision.

Personally can't see it taking that bad a turn by November/December. Which is generally when panic buttons get pressed.

It’s the mythical (is deffo going to be a world beater) approach.

Until he has two average games on the spin and everyone will be claiming he’s “not good enough for Everton”.

Or any player no matter who they are, who isnt playing for whatever reason is suddenly the reason we struggled and they are missed.
To throw gbamin in though is real straw clutching. But we're at that stage now i guess.

The Sheff Utd game was awful but it probably was the first game where the future of the manager became an issue.

The City game was never going to be a factor in any decision to keep or sack the manager, if anything the spirited performance by the players showed they are still playing for the manager.

The game next week is a real pressure game... a loss and there is little doubt he is a manager edging towards the exit door, a win would certainly give him a substantial reprieve.

If the club are making decisions on a manager on a game by game basis, then they're clowns.

He’s shown he can’t cut it. We’re worse than when fat Sam was there. He’s spent a fortune and can’t get a tune out of them.

Lose to burnley and he has to go. Preferably at the final whistle.

If we lost to Burnley that would be 5 lost out of our last 6 games, I'd be absolutely shocked if Moshiri stuck with him.
This squad with them fixtures we had should not be potentially losing 5 games on the trot, That said if we win it would give us some breathing space and would 100% buy Silva more time whether you think its right or not, I'd personally keep for this season and bin him off unless it gets to Koeman levels. His contract runs out in June 2021 so I don't think we would lose out on too much.

A squad of Pickford, Digne, Mina, Schneiderlin, Delph, Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Bernard, Gomes, Richarlison, Kean isn't poor. That is some oaf quality. It's mismanagement.

Think you might over rate some of our squad mate

If we lose at Burnley he’s 100% gone. It’s mad that people haven’t grasped that yet, it reminds me of when everyone said Allardyce was going to stay.
