Not surprising, If he loses against West Ham Farhad will give him the boot most likely I hope, Hopefully we're using these two weeks to sound managers out.

Why would you hope? If we win and then go on a run isn’t that what we want? Ffs we need stability other wise we will be the nxt QPR more managers in a short term than anything.

Because I've lost all hope in the man, He's had numerous times to change it but he's decided to stick to the same players and formation that currently lost us 3 on the bounce, what does he do? Pick it again away to Burnley. A manager who refuses to change it or change it when it's bad will never take us to the top 6 or push us to the next level.
Let's not get started on his subs either, He's predictable and I've lost any faith I had left in him.

Maybe because we’re not finding a new manager

If he loses to West Ham he's gone mate even he himself has called it a must win - my problem is if you then sack him we have to spend weeks finding a new manager and getting them bedded in when we have a vital League Cup game against watford right around the corner which we'll no doubt lose with Unsworth or some interim in charge rather than a new bloke who would have had a few weeks with the squad.

The board dont care that the fans havent seen us win ought for 24 years - so long as they can sleep at night knowing they gave an underperforming manager "one last chance to prove himself".

Meanwhile come May that lot will be parading in our city again this time with a League Title and God knows what else.

Atleast one of the clubs in this city gives something back to the fans - shame it aint ours.

Moshiri and Brands are disgraces.

Why waste 2 weeks of finding a new manager/getting them working with the players to give a bloke ONE game to see if he's the right man for the remaining 31 when its clear he isnt?

Absolutely amateur our club is really am sick to death of them.

Again, again, again do you really want us to go into the West Ham game with half a squad being trained for the past 2 weeks by Unsworth and his team because we hadn’t got a successor straight away or would you want some care and thought being put in to get a manager in to be interviewed ready to come straight in once the inevitable has happened?

A lot of people seem to forget just how much of a shambles it was that 6 week period was between Koeman getting fired, the fart arsing trying and failing to get Silva and having to get The Gravy Goblin in all because we had a P.E teacher trying to be something he wasn’t

Can I ask? What reason do you have and I mean a logical one , for giving him more time ? What makes you think he will turn it round ?

Thanks for asking.

The crux of Everton's problems stemmed from Koeman's incoming players. This created a rather imbalance squad without a plan to accommodate them. In my mind, Koeman had to go because he was no longer trusted on the transfer market. Sam Allardyce added another two players of insufficient quality, Tosun and Walcott, that did little to turn Everton into a quality side again. Like Koeman, Allardyce had to go because he couldn't be trusted on the transfer market.

Brands and Silva have to clear up the mess left behind by our previous managers. This project will take some time to come to fruition. In the meantime, Brands and Silva have bought good players to club with the ability to improve with age, scoring goals from all positions, and have injected pace. Mina has the ability to score lots of goals. Richarlison is another player who will only get better in time. DCL9 will improve by age. Brands and Silva are clearing a number of players away from Everton thus freeing up the wage bill in preparation for better quality players.

Both Brands and Silva still need to recruit more players, particular in our spine. The key to Everton's success is to get their transfer targets spot on in a succession of transfer windows. Liverpool and Tottenham are masters on this. Brands and Silva haven't bought a bad player yet. If Everton is to fight for the top four places then they have to ensure they have the means to make bold transfers in the future like Klopp did. Great tactics can only take you so far, great players will make you win things. We don't have great players and it will take time to get them or develop them.

Sacking Silva risks us going back to the cycle of buying poor players and sacking managers. "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."

What about Silva's stubbornness to keep playing the same system week - in, week - out mate, even though everyone else can see it's not working, apart from Silva that is, and I can't accept the "he's got no choice" line.

By the sounds of journalists its not a forgone conclusion he's getting sacked unless we lose to West Ham (and potentially Brighton and Watford) therefore as much as we would hope that the club are sounding out/talking to other managers over these 2 weeks I highly highly doubt it as what happens if Silva wins the next 3 on the spin - does Brands tell Ten Hag or Mourinho etc "sorry lads you're not needed now we are keeping Marco" it just isnt happening.

If he was getting sacked it would have been either yesterday or will be the monday following the West Ham game if we lose.

A case of Silva not believing his team is strong enough yet. Still need to recruit more players.
