The idea that we have been sounding out managers makes me smile. Our board has form for taking much longer than necessary to appoint managers. Other than that it's a risky game sounding out managers before you've sacked your own. There are legal aspects, even if the guy is without employment. A club has to be careful.

Silva looks like a manager who struggles with consistency. He may be given more time but do we really have to start worrying about relegation fights again? Those days ended in the 90s. Let's not go back there.

I SAY WE BREAK THE MOULD AND APPOINT THE PREMIERSHIPS FIRST FEMALE MANAGER.

Imagine the headlines across the world
The sad part is I bet we wouldn't be any worse pdf on terms of results.

I'm joking of course. I do hope Siva goes though. He bores the xxxx out of me.

You need to do better with that mate. They are a real force and have handed stiff tests out to the elite clubs already. Since the back end of last season to this season so far, they are easily a top 5 club. They may not stay there, but they are managed very well and the players they bought are talented and have character.

Until they finish there, then they'll be a top 5 club. A decent start to the season that even Palace have matched doesn't mean they're a top 5 club.

Like I say, they're reliant on 1 goal scorer (they create about as much per game as Sheff United and have the 13th lowest shots in the league) and are on form.

They lost to United and Brighton have beaten Spurs.

I wish we had one of them. :(

See im pretty sure we have been sounding out managers, afterall we did it with the current idiot when he was at Watford, and if Moshiri was willing to sack Sam when he was under contract and was doing what we asked of him, he wont waste time with someone who is under contract and ruining what could of been a good season by October.
Besides i dont think SIlva does struggle with consistency, this is his standard, we just got a bit deluded by the late run last season
