On their day, every team is very good. The trick is for it to be ‘that day’ most matches...that’s what separates the top teams and good to average sides.

Consolidate a win with a win and then another win. Then draw conclusions.

But today was night and day to two weeks ago.

Cardiff away last year, he went away and rebuilt a system, and we ended up getting (I believe) 23 from 11 games. For him the season ended at completely the wrong time. Probably another 2-3 games we finish 7th. Wolves were running out of steam.

He has done similar today. We have completely altered the system. Bernard back in, mobility at number 10, 2 genuine number 8's who can go forward/back and carry the ball forward and playing someone with pace and discipline down the right. Not all of the changes popular ones, but we looked very well balanced.

We now need to build on it, as we did last season. We have the template now though. We can't go back to Sigurdsson playing as a 10 in the way he was or Schneiderlin playing as a 2 behind him. I'm not saying either can never play again, and I do think Sigurdsson is a good enough player to play deeper, but we have a template now and he will need to build on that.

It's funny really about really good and bad. If we play as we did today, the only 2 teams who are better than us are Liverpool and City. We'd give both a game at Goodison too. I don't care what people say about Leicester, we would beat them. However when we've been bad, we are as poor as anyone. So he needs to get us "at it" more often than not.

A good win today though. This doesn't feel like Bournemouth at home under Koeman either, where Niasse saved Koeman's bacon.

He needs to build on this. We moved away from what we did last season, we need to build on today.

Hes a top manager. You can see the improvement in the players over time, Davies today for example looked a different player.

Spot on about changing the team and tactics...

He really does need more players to play the way he wants and if we look at the 11 today theres not much he can do in the way of subs, or if we have injuries, to keep the same type of player with the same ability on the pitch.

He's only spent £200+ million yet needs more players?

Cheque book Charlie is he then? I thought we couldnt afford a chequebook manager mate? Thats what im told on here anyway.

I'm sure he will be great at Barnsley or Yeovil or wherever he ends up at!

Lol lol lol

A troll?

If not being a flamin hypocrite and sucking off the bloke I wanted sacking yesterday is being a troll then sound lad.

See you all next week when you're all frothing at the mouth again come 4.55pm...

Until we start showing consistency then we're still gash, but come on mate, just enjoy a win for once, a win that also came with a really good performance.

Mate i don't think he should be here but sometimes it's best to say nothing we both want what is best for Everton don't we, I would rather we win the next 5 games than lose them to prove a point to others on the internet.

I actually think we have been playing quite well with major flaws. The defensive side especially set pieces have been mainly down to players nodding off or not taking responsibility at marking and some serious errors. Up front is our achilles heel and I still believe if we had that elusive experienced striker then we would not be in so much difficulty. Kean hopefully will gain experience of this league and get a few goals but it is all too much to expect a kid albeit talented to lead the line consistently over a season. We are a couple of players and tweaks short at the moment but in my eyes we are not that far away.

I get that but we wont win 5 will we mate - some believe in fairy tales he had all the transition season excuses last season - this season was all about results and we are 13th.

When will fans start demanding more? Imagine if Liverpool had spent £450 million in 3 years to be 13th in the table yet RS fans made up over a home win against WHU after losing 4 on the trot - we would be kin wetting ourselves.

We all know its either a defeat at Brighton or Watford - Silva doesnt do 3+ games wins on the bounce so pick what you want lads 3 more league points or progression in the cup as you aint getting both with Magic Marco as coach.
