16 points from a possible 90.

Shocking

We need a different gameplan away from home until results improve. That means potentially a negative set up with 3 midfielders every week and full backs very cautious. You can't win away if you can't defend, as we show every other week.

The tactics this season away have been frightening at times. We get rinsed on the counter all the time. We don't fight hard to get back in shape and we shirk tackles.

16 points from 30 games is not acceptable. People need to be held responsible. The fact the manager is still here says all we need to know about the standards at the club.

I could sit here and make a case for every defeat we have had under this fella, lots and lots of excuses players switching off, dodgy refs, spineless players, the wind, VAR, injuries, but its a results business and he should and will rightfully be judged by me at least on results he gets here. Last season he got some very good results, but this season so far its just defeat after defeat.

Im still reluctant to say sack him, cos im honestly terrified of who comes next.

Some people have kidded themselves that Jose, Allegri, Simeone are even aware that we exist, they dont or that The Ajax fella will fly over at the drop of our skirt. Nobody is leaving an established team to roll the dice here, nobody.

Last time we punted a manager we got the best option at the time, I still think Sam was the correct decision. Currently I dont think we are where we were last time, even considering our form, but I also think we will struggle to get anything more than a Moyes or a Hughes.

Fear of the unknown is no reason to stick with a clearly failing manager, but im still scared.
It just doesn't feel like he realises why we lose when we do. His naivety shines through tactically and as a leader of men. It's very Martinez-esque it's always a promise that next time will be better. But next time is too late we have to work and be tactically reoslute to dig results out. We can't just expect to only win when we play well because we will never get enough results in that scenario .I feel like we have a set of players who think they are better than the level they play at and don't expect to have to work hard to achieve. But in the main they aren't good enough to play for the best teams which is why they are with us.

Keep the faith. Silva knows what he's doing but needs 3 years minimum to get his ideas over. Klopp took 4 years to do anything for the RS and that was after 100s of millions thrown at it.

If we are going to fire anyone get rid of the backroom staff and bring some quality in to support Silva.

I hate Klopp, but Silva shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as him.

I personally lay the blame for today at the hands of the referees and players.

You seriously can't expect Pickford to not save that first goal.

The absolute weakness of our team, seasoned professionals, to not see the victory or draw out is beyond the pale.

Once we’ve conceded the pen, is it not Silva’s job to reset the team? Surely you must attribute some blame to MS for the reaction, or lack thereof. Once that pen went in, we folded. That’s not good enough.

Klopp's first season was pretty ordinary, but he started in October. He did not have a pre-season. This season Klopp achieved a point average of 1.6. In the next season, Klopp achieves a point average of 2.0, and the following season a point average of 1.97. A small setback, but they qualify for a CL final. Next season they achieve a point average of 2.55, and win CL. This season, they have a point average of 2.77, and will (god forbid) most likely win the league. The point is pretty obvious; there has been progress all the way, and besides, he has not only been successful in implementing his philosophy, but he has also developed it further.

On the other side we have Silva. As in his first season had a point average of 1.42, and now has a point average of 1. It is not only Klopp that has been thrown money, but the same can be said about Silva. We are talking about regression here, and no one really knows what his philosophy is yet. Nor can he be compared to Klopp. Before coming to Liverpool, he was considered one of Europe's best coaches, and he could therefore be more trusted.

It's why last week was empty on promise if playing away from home wasn't addressed.

He didn't address it.

He got to two finals in his first season too
