For me its the way Brighton set up, they were really doing us a favour.
This wasn't lower table dig the trenches and make it difficult to break down.
This was toe to toe stuff.
This was a game which simply should have been won.

One thing that struck me was after the first couple of attacking waves how the intensity just started dropping off
Two things
- sustained intensity and show of skill to get the first goal should be everything
- its why players believing and understanding the game plan/tactics is so important - it keeps the players focused, gives them options, eliminates doubt, ultimately it keeps the intensity going

What was working at West Ham didn't hold up against Brighton when it was easier to do so.
Perplexing? It seems to me the players really don't get or believe in Silva approach, or simply are incapable of doing it.

Mate our away record has been awful for the last 30 years, its not a Silva thing, its an Everton thing.

Im not saying that to excuse him at all by the way.

I know mate, which is why I added a season without his turbo gashness

I think the best thing for all concerned is we all just need to stop supporting them, like literally the whole of the away fan base should stop going because they get the piss taken out of them by this side evey fortnight and for home matches, 50 fans should just do a rota basis on who has to go.

We did have 1 season under Moyes where we had a great away season ( 8 wins and a few draws) but that's the exception to the norm.

The players we buy clearly don't have the strong mentality or expectation on them to win away, the coach doesn't. The board talks about expected defeats. There's a losers culture from top to bottom. Until that changes not much will.

Im sick and tired of it - and you've left out the fanbase aswell who largely have a loser mentality.

From top to very bottom the club needs a reset button.

Thats why we'll never appoint a winner because our board couldn't deal with a manager who would tell them to their faces that they are losers.

They want puppets like Silva who know they are lucky to be at a club like Everton who'll tow the party line.

A big positive from today is we have to beat Watford now, we have to, and progress in the cup, which is more important.
While we are a real relegation candidate right now, the cup is more important, no way are we going to blow up on Tuesday, no way.... I hope.
We can address the relegation worry once Silva has gone, which should be soon

I agree, I think siggardson should be axed for a spell, Keane maybe making way for Holgate, push Richarlison back out wide and give kean a run up front and stick Iwobi back in the middle. I would keep sidibe in the team and at this moment I would have to say keep Davies and Gomes in the middle as Delph and Schneiderlin are the worse of the four presently. It’s going to be a long winter with or without Silva.

I agree with this.
Perhaps interchange Gomes , Davies and Delph depending on the game and any knocks.

Was just about to say something similar: reset. Just in the past few years whatever was supposed to be good about Koeman or Silva simply did not manifest when they got here. So what is it about Everton? How many managers does the club go through and the same type of things happen? And when I think of the concept of replacing Silva, I cannot see the wood for the trees.
