sorry I did mean 18th ( I even used BBC sport like you as a reference hahaha )

that's my point, koeman had a far worse squad and 10x harder games and still come out with similar points

The problem with this current team and the manager is all mental. Weak bottle jobs who crumble at the first hint of pressure.

That squad Koeman put together had absolutely no qualities about it whatsoever, zero. It was the worse Everton team I've ever seen. Koeman's dismissal was about more than league position and points in my opinion.

Quite right about RK and it has taken some time and still more to get rid of the dross RK saddled us with. The squad now is a heck of a lot better just not being managed well by Silva.

BTW the Brighton game was also a must win just like WHU.

yer Koeman was absolutely ruthless wasn't he, could tell the players absolutely hated him. beginning off the end was selling Lukaku and barkleys injury for the second season, we just lost our whole team with them 2 out

with Silva they all seem to love him, but then they don't perform for him

is it to much to ask for just having a decent manager and team, who put a shift in every week.

There isn’t anybody still seriously making a case for him remaining as the manager is there? o_O
I don't think anyone is making this case. The case people are making is that a mid-season sack & replacement with another jabronie is just rinse-repeat-recycle the trajectory of the past 5 years. Google the definition of insanity.

People wonder why we don't make any progress. That tends to happen when you instill a culture of instability.

But you're suggesting the only option is a "jabronie" yet didn't Leicester bring in Rodgers mid-season?

we don't make progress because we CONSTANTLY aim low and get in managers who aren't good enough

I'd rather we go out be bold and try and get a top manager in, even if we get laughed at

there isn't any point trying to install stability when your manager isn't up to the task, what's the point? we will just be constantly bad

the fear is it’s the most likely option for our stupid club

if I could trust they’d recruit well I’d be fine with the sacking

said this week I trust Silva’s ability to get us top 10 this season way more than I trust the club to make a good appointment mid-season

1. Where did I say it was the only option? Though you're fooling yourself if you think a top 6 manager is sitting by the phone waiting for the call to captain this sinking ship.
2. So because LC did and caught fire in a bottle, we can too?

I didn't even argue that. Nice straw man though.

Only thing we can hope for is that Brands will make the next decision. Obviously Moshiri isn't up to the task.

You are literally talking about rinse and repeat and the definition of insanity you lunatic

Can't honestly believe he is still here.

Bottled it in minute 30 of the Brighton match when he brought on Sigurdson.

Now he is whining on about VAR; would not have gotten to that if he had some "objects that you utilise in tennis matches" and actually put on Kean.

If we lose tomorrow is he out; tomorrow and Sunday?

Nothing will change; Sunday and in comes Schneiderfraud; backwards and sideways and we lose again.
