Wiser folks are saying line up your perferred replacement before you wield the axe on Marco. Too true. Trouble is there are unlikely to be any really top managers who would look at us. Probably similar standard to Marco and here we go again.

And rightly so, if Watford are playing the team they have hinted, on website, news and forum - they have u23 lads travelling for the first time - then he will have to be sacked, no excuses. Knocked out by Watford reserves, imagine!

I can well imagine mate.

Not really, what im saying is that if the players arent performing or leave him in a bind e.g no pace at the back...no real DM and Gomes being out for ages....no experienced CF....sigurdsson...walcott...keane...schneiderlin etc

Where is the depth and quality for him to bring on?

He didnt get zouma doucoure zaha or a left footed right attacker.

so we are 100% blaming this on recruitment and the types of players he is having to work with?

but didn’t you say a few posts back this is a good squad and much better one than BFS or Koeman had?

I think they key point here was the lack of screaming?

Could you articulate precisely what you wanted him to scream?

That’s they key point you’ve picked up, from the tactical errors you more concerned with the fact I said screaming at his players

Well he could start with “DELPH DAVIES DROP BACK, THE ‘KIN HOLE DOWN THE RIGHT, DROP BACK “”

I can't help but look at the set of fixtures we've had so far and be fairly confident that a number of supposedly inferior managers would have comfortably amassed more points with this set of players.

An estimate from those games for me would have probably been 18-20 points before the season started, yet here we are with the 5th worst goal difference in the league having lost 4 of the last 5 and only managed a goal a game average. It doesn't make for great reading and the quicker this clown is booted out the door the better for me, his whole demeanour is off and he doesn't give me any confidence that he can change things.

Beaten by Villa, Bournemouth, Sheff Utd, Burnley and Brighton, grim.

We should have beaten both shefield and villa and missed chances...brighton we were robbed.

Not sure how silva could change the bad luck
Because football is a game judged on chances. Absolute cuckoo land you live in. We were beaten fair and Square by all the teams except maybe Brighton. The object of the game is to score more than the opposition. When we win, do we say we shouldn’t have because the other team missed a couple??? Bizarre thought process..
It’s ok though, if we go down, you can give the FA a bell and tell them we missed a few chances, we should never have lost. I’m sure they’ll reinstate us

Shocking the amount of games he has lost, these new managers get a lot more grace than they used too, poch is another one, lost a lot of games in a 12 month period.

I question some fans intelligence. Listening to podcasts and they’re saying ‘you can’t blame Silva one bit for that result at Brighton.’

I thought we conceded 3 goals? It seems 1 goal by a bad Var means Silva can concede another 2 and lose yet another game and it’s not his fault.

the bloke has proven time and time again he can’t defend and he can’t win games we concede 1st goal in.

I think mentality is something which can be installed in players by the manager . Take Hendo for example , he didnot look like a winner in Sunderland or in Red Rags before Klopp arrived . The big change in Reds dressing room now is that even average players like Hendo or Origi or Milner have started believing and it is these players who play a vital role when Salah and Mane aint clcking . I want to see that hunger and belief in our players aswell . And i look up to the gaffer to try to change the mentality of players , make them believe ..
Hendo ?
