Anyone think the change in Assistant has had an impact? I just can't warm to Boa Morte at all. He was a snide on the pitch, and seeing home holding that iPad barking out instructions sends shivers down my spine! lol

Nah, i know what you mean mate, there is something i really don't like about him, i think it's made worse by the fact that Silva's former assistant is doing so well now as a first team coach.

You would think he was a silver tongued charmer like Brown shoes the way some fans are absolutely fandazzled by him.

You wouldn't think he was utterly dour and looking like he was in mourning 24/7 the way our fans carry on.

that's it though, good proactive managers see there their team go behind and tweak something, or encourage them to keep going ( dare I say it when Liverpool went behind on sunday they just bossed spurs until they cracked ) we concede a goal and our players just melt into the ground. they are terrified, obviously this isn't just silva but it's his tactics that have the team playing so scared.

we should have beaten half the teams at least we've played this season, and bar the brighton game where you could say unlucky, we have been absolutely dog poo in the rest and didn't deserve anything

The whole situation has a strange feeling to it.

Yes we havent an amazing squad but we certainly have players good enough for us to be in 7/8th at present - it feels like we are purposely being made to suffee by the board.

When I say that its not like we are in a Watford/Norwich scenario with an owner with limited funds, a small club and limited players bar one or two - we are a bigish club, good fanbase, owner willing to spend more than most in the league/Europe on signings and pay good wages - why the hell are we sticking with the fella and every week saying "lets hope for a draw and not to get bummed"

I honestly dont care how many points off 7th we are mate - we could be 3 points off 2nd/3rd with an actual half decent manager.

Just because the bar has been set low by other teams doesnt mean we should accept being crap look at Leicester and Palace.

Only 10 games in and much closer to bottom than top, with possibly the easiest set of games in the whole league. That’s not good enough,
Doesn’t matter if we are 3 points off wherever when we have lost more games than we have won, and we also have the hardest period of the season ahead.
