Yep make him top target then work your way down.

All the naysayers havent a scooby who we could or couldn't attract you ignore them mate
It would take months to work down to the bottom of that list and our eventual future appointee.
Much more time efficient to start 3/4 of the way down any list that has Maureen at the top.

we can't even get into europe let alone win a major trophy, Mind blowing people thinking he would come here.
The problem Jose faces is that if we wants to stay in the Pemiership and in England ,Arsenal apart, there are very few clubs that would have him or could afford him.

We , Arsenal apart, are probably the closest he might get and if you consider a willingness to spend on players we seem to be well ahead but they are a London club.

I am not at all saying we will get Mourinho, I am saying that his choices are limited and if he insists on a big budget and a club that is ready now to challenge top four or win in Europe then I don't think he has any choice at all.

You are aware that a fan having a certain attitude holds absolutely no bearing on a manager coming to a club don’t you?
It is up to Moshiri to sell the club to Mourinho. The new ground, the spending money, the wages.

Mourinho has a reputation to rebuild and could be attracted.

Or we could just go for Chris Wilder.

So if the club don’t go for Mourinho then it’s their fault. And if they go for him and he tells us to do one because we’re crap it’s also the clubs fault for not selling it to him well enough?

With that attitude we will never progress.

We’ve tried the inexperienced punts and they don’t work.

Give him £20m a year if needs be. It’ll be cheaper than paying out compensation packets every other year.
I mean you can call it my attitude, I'm just being a realist, You think one of the most highly successful managers will come to this utter crap show? We're a mess all over the place.
He's on like 15m a year and then lets not even consider the demands he'll want for transfers.

Unlike you, oh all knowing one.

I havent a clue who we could attract (apart from Pep/Klopp/Simeone for obvious reasons) but the ownership should be ambitious enough to see out of work managers like Jose who's stock isnt as high and make an offer.

If he says no then fair enough you move down the list but to chase a novice all season and not interview anyone else like we did with Voldermort is absolutely amateur by the club.

I would have said you'll never see Bielsa in the fizzy pop league or Rafael at Newcastle or heck Leicester winning the League. To talk in certainties is foolish as football isnt done on paper.

they’re based in London, where his family live. So he won’t need to live an hotel for 3 years

doh!!!

Unless Jose Mourinho has told you he'll never manage Everton or that he has on record turned us down your opinion is any less more valid than someone saying he could join us.

No one knows ultimately.

Give him what he wants. We’re supposedly ambitious.

Who else is he going to in the Premier League, if not us?

I kinda agree with that, but for probably a different reason. Jose has zero to prove to football. Nothing.

And he is a football man, obvs. I was a half decent salesman back in the day, and I could create a narrative that might appeal to him. Spurs and Arsenal, of the face of it, look way more attractive. But literally anything he does at Arsenal will be calibrated against Wenger. And the coin Kronke will lob at him for players will mean light years until he gets that squad doing much, PL/CL wise. Similar Spurs, with half their squad off next year anyrate.

Being credited with delivering with us, dunno, might just appeal the romantic in him.

If we can get Jose, fair play. But we also should have got Kante to replace Gueye as alls it takes is money and promise them everything, should get Aubameyang maybe too
