Haha! Dont think anyone will care.

Said last Christmas, it is a damn sight easier to solve a problem of conceding goals than it is to solve the problem of not scoring them.

"Bad Luck" only goes so far.

Loving the footie, hating the defending/luck.

Arguably, Martinez has never solved the problem in the Premier League era with a team of his own design.

Well he did in that awful patch last season. Wasnt pretty, but they ground out some points that we needed.

We are not in that situation, (yet) this season, and the attacking football is as good as I have seen us play for many a year. That is down to him.

Sadly, so is the comical defending at times. Not literally, but you can shrug your shoulders after Bournemouth, raise your eyebrows at Norwich, and fume after today.

Personally, I am semi confident he will sort it/Jags gets fit. The stuff we have served up, attacking, these last few weeks has been outstanding. We were not doing that when we were mince last season.

I'm in pro-Martinez camp (not since forever, but lately), but I'm starting to have real doubts. We should do a lot better, than we're doing right now, no doubt about that. We're playing nice football at times, but every success must be build on a defensive fundaments. You don't have it, then you're not capable of winning stuff. I hope he'll improve on that matter, but right now I feel like this is his missing piece to be a top top manager.

He's starting to become a figure like Zdenek Zeman - exciting and offensive football but a total lack of discipline in defence. He managed some top clubs and they were brilliant to watch, but never won a thing.

I wish Sir John Moores was still around,he'd get Martinez in a taxi and sack him as he did in 1961 with Johnny Carey, which wasn't a popular decision at the time brought in Harry Catterick who added steel to the style and we were Champions by 1963,yeah we're playing great football at times, got the nucleus of a great side but we're not ruthless enough,no nasty streak in the team, hence we get walked over week in week out by nomark teams and joke officials,Moores would go out and get Mourinho,he's stated in the past we're one of only four clubs in the country he'd consider managing,go and get him, this board will just keep drifting unfortunately.
Have you a link to where the Special One said that (one of the 4 clubs bit)............. very flattered about that tbh. I take it United ....Chelsea and us..... who is the other club mate ?
