Its on a par with saying we won a game in which we scored the same amount of goals as the other side! The man is a pure idiot, whats worrying is he actually believes the nonsense he comes out with.

There's never any positivity and it f**ks me right off. I rarely go the game and I just want to chant and get stuck in but everyone just boots off the entire time instead. I'd start chants but I'm affraid people will look at me like I'm p*ssed and get me kicked out. I swear the atmosphere was better in the Walter Smith period.

Don't get me wrong, our performance today wasn't good enough and despite my comments above I still love Goodison, but I get where Bobby is coming from. It's no excuse but it doesn help at all: We're making it a hostile place for our own players.

We were AWFUL in that first half. And it reflects on Martinez. For whatever reason, this team is a 45 minute team.
 
Don't pick Howard and you immediately do away with the ironic chanting, the only booing that annoys me is the stuff directed at Barkley, think it's unjustified and it seems to have an effect on his performances. He is one of us Boo Howard Boo Martinez don't boo a very talented young player who hopefully he build around. I could handle losing Stones and Lukaku because at the end of the day they will GO. Ross leaving would kill me, Rooney all over again.
 

The crowd being toxic / quiet is a symptom of the players / team being poor, yes there might be a negative feedback element now, but what is the deep down cause.?

I booed at some Ireland games under Staunton, as there was literally no excuse for appointing him. And he was\is an arrogant kopite bell.



.....i got punished by having to watch Trappatoni "football" for many years afterwards....
