Games like today really bring home how badly we'd fallen under Martinez. I never had any doubt we'd win today at any stage of the game. Had we gone 2-1 down in the same circumstances under the fraud we'd never in a million years comeback to win like that. This fealing confidant at home make a a nice change from the gut wrenching acceptance that regardless of how far in front we were we wouldn't be safe until full time.

I bear the bloke no malice, just happy he is no where near our football club.

Let him muck about with a decent Belgium squad for half a dozen games a year. Not enough time to ruin any of them.

I bear him malice mate and a lot of it. I've never been so depressed watching the blues as I was with him as boss. Even in the 90's (with the exception of Walker) I had more faith that we would turn things around. The guy was killing us. He set us back years. I truly considered not renewing my season ticket this year had he been manager. I'll never forgive that. Goodison is my favourite place in the whole world and that charlatan made me hate going. You watch as he ruins Belgium's chances of being real contenders for the World Cup simply to pacify that idiots ego.

Fair enough.

What he did that was unforgivable was to put his precious style before results, which was all about his ego and not the football club or its paying public. I too hated home games for the last year or so of his painful tenure. Then when rightfully sacked he decided to pump the club for maximum £10m and refused to negotiate, the man is a maggot as far as I'm concerned

The "Real Evertonians" knew what he was doing. :hayee:

What does my head in the most is how come some deluded blues (loads more then just Dave back then) said he 'got us'. The pure idiocy of that still annoys me now. He didn't even understand the whole point of our motto and sacrificed winning for style. No manager has ever understood this club less then that serpent Martinez.

Couldn't agree more.
