should be reaching the semi's at least with the squad they have

I think you could argue that Spain, Germany, France and at least a couple of the South American sides would have a better chance than them

Quarters will be a reasonable target, Semi's would be a bonus

They've got some impressive individuals, but overall there are definitely going to be more than four better sides than them when the tournament starts

If he gets them to a Quarter Final and they go out in a competitive match to a top side, then he's parred the hole

Anything less than that though and he's failed

Mister Martinez actually has a bachelors degree in physiotherapy and a postgraduate diploma in business management.Credit where it's due like. The man has more functioning brain cells than i thought.lol I'd say Bobbys graduation photo makes for hilarious viewing.lol

Mike Walker would get this Belgium squad to the quarters, so wouldn't call that par - it's more like a gimme. Getting past that they need leadership who can give them that bit extra, which this squad has never had. Martinez obviously won't be able to do that (lol), but tbf it's a huge ask for even good managers as you're talking about making a difference to great players at the highest, most pressurised level of the game.

The qualifying round was ridiculously easy. Some Ale House teams there.

Argentina are struggling at the moment

One of them, Peru, Chile and possibly Colombia could miss out

Brazil currently storming it

I mean, even if Argentina do finish fifth they only have to beat New Zealand after that. If they can't beat them then they don't deserve to be at the World Cup

Surprised at how bad Chile are doing. Even though they're not great on paper they're usually reliable enough and better than the sum of their parts.
