Lukaku = Everton signing of the past 30 years.

Debate ends.

Coleman, Baines, Cahill, Arteta all have a claim to be our best signing in the last 30 years so...…. debate continues.

I would personally go for Coleman (I would be surprised if the majority of Blues did not think the same), in fact Coleman is up there with the best signings in the Premier league in the last 30 years given what he cost.

Also, anybody who ends with phrases such as 'Debate ends' knows they are losing the debate as it is a clear psychological tactic to make the other person give up, giving the false indication that you have won the argument.

No marks one and all.

OK, OK, you can drop the wind up for one second you know. Cahill a no mark????????????????

If you are not on a wind up, I want a debate out of you (despite it being off topic). Why are these players 'no marks'. I want an in depth analysis on each one on how they all showed nothing while at Everton, not just a childish response. What we need to consider is cost per goals, general play, how they fitted into the team, etc.

Back on topic, Martinez bought Lukaku and he was a fantastic player for us.

By the way the best signing over the past 30 years was Paul Rideout as his signing actually resulted in us winning something.

Actually I would throw Stuart and Campbell in there too for obvious reasons. Where would we be without them stepping up when it mattered?

Or Hinchcliffe for the vast array of fantastic corner kicks that led to us getting so many goals during that Cup winning season

What's he won?

For your own peace of mind it's best not to delve too deeply into the psychological traits of @davek

lol

Cant remember Kanchelskis getting 92 goals for Everton nor being sold on for three times the cost we paid for him.

Lukaku got half as many as cottee so by your ridiculous logic was half the player ? You make decent points on occasion but You’re a complete balloon sometimes.

1995/96 kanchelskis was absolutely fantastic, since you like stats so much I think he scored his 16 goals in better than 1:2 ,not forgetting he scored two at anfield for us to win there . I absolutely loved watching him , it was a pleasure although I don’t think there was much streaming then so maybe you didn’t see too much of him .

By the way lukaku did great for us but to dismiss some excellent players just to allow you to keep kicking the arse out of whatever point you’re currently kicking the arse out of isn’t just annoying it’s unsurprising.
