If I'm running a team having a 4 goal lead in a game to move on a tournament and blowing it is disqualifying for a manager who I want to win the CL. But I guess that's why I don't run Barcelona.

If Barcelona want to continue their great run of throwing away second leg leads then Martinez is their man. They dont half love a crap manager at the Nou Camp.

Two bottom half finishes at a club that has only finished bottom half twice in 15 years. Bottled every big knockout game at that club. Totally played off the park in a world cup semi. Embarrased by a bang average Swiss side in a de facto quarterfinal.

Yeah Barca that Martinez looks a top manager

Still find it funny how everyone brings up him getting relegated with Wigan as if keeping them in the prem for 3 years prior to that isnt an accomplishment for Wigan (as you can see what's happened to them since he left). Not to mention winning a trophy. He'll do fine with talented players
They finished in top 10 with Paul Jewell at the helm and were 14th under Steve Bruce.

Allegri to Barca makes more sense

Setien or Ten Hag but apparently neither are being considered. The good, hopefully, is that Valverde will be out but even this is not a certainty with Bartomeu

Koeman is a Barcelona legend and only normal he is linked but he's as far down my preferred list as Martinez

In three seasons:

Reopened the School of Science playing our most creative football since the mid-80s
Took us to two cup SFs
Smashed Everton's PL season points total (never to be challenged for years to come)

...did that with his inherited Moyes' Dads Army and spending a pittance...then leaving handing the club a net profit on players bought.

If Silva does that after three seasons it'll be considered a qualified success.

Swansea - a success
Wigan - a success
Everton - a success
Belgium - a success

Hmmm, I wonder why Barcelona might want him?

In 3 seasons

Achieved 2 x 11th placed finishes

Worst home record since the 1930’s

Lost both semi finals

Lost the whole dressing room and inflicted some of the most embarrassing defeats in the history of the club, including successive 4-0 defeats at the neighbors, Sunderland away 3-0, Leicester away 4-1 etc etc.

After his great first season upon inheriting and adding to Moyes already established top 6 side, he turned us into mid table mediocrity.

I suppose it’s all about opinions, but everything I have just written is 100% factual, whereas some of yours is just based on your opinion, which is known to be a bit flakey at the best of times.
