I can really see the dilemma on the business side for Manchester United as he is a very valuable and highly talented asset. Has he been tried and found guilty? No, so no legal reason why they can't get him back playing. Will the fans accept him back? I imagine it will be split and there will most likely be the 'well she's had a kid with him so it can't be that bad' justification.
All I know is that if it was us in this position I'd want him punted and nowhere near the club. To the female staff and our female fanbase (most importantly for me my 2 girls) what kind of message is it sending out if he was welcomed back in?
