I can’t believe what’s happened to him. You’d think Godfrey coming in and looking brilliant would motivate him to up his game, but he’s taken 2 steps backward.

I think that’s the sticking point though.

Im looking at Godfrey and whilst he has bad games, he still mostly has been inform and feel he can be even when we’re doing atrocious.

Now; with Holgate for me, he seems solely like a confidence player, and reminds me, a bit of an outfield Pickford, brain farts in most games.

Some of the decisions he’s made lately have been nothing short of amateur, and I think that’s an insult to them, and for that reason, I’m not against moving him on.

Once a season for those type of errors you can say fair enough but looks like he has one in him every week now. Difficult habit to break out of.

Has to go in the summer, bottom-half player at best. Shame because he looked to be kicking on last season but this year has shown us his true level and it's 100% not good enough.
